Lovely staff. Salmon was overcooked for a medium-to-rare.
We had a nice experience, service could not have been better. Our only complaint was that we ordered the ahi cones appetizer which we have had in previous visits. We only received 3 in an order and they were expensive for what they were. We noticed that the table next to us got 4 and there were less people. Kind of petty but it bugged us.
good day to you. I would like to invite you to come back again and I can explain you from how we do the tuna cones and the reason why another table had more than your order is because you can add more to your order as many as you like. There is a charge for it and probably we should have mentioned this to you while we were taking the order. Best Regards. Manuel
Great service. Great food. Great ambience. A pre dinner drink in the bar is a must ( but very $$$)
Lovely room, friendly, proficient staff. Really creative but satisfying
Best food in vail/beaver creek! Great ambiance by the bar with live music. But beware, there’s a crazy tax added in the private community the restaurant sits in
Wow. What an experience. From the valet parking to the famed Ritz Carlton quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our selves. Food choices were very unique and quality was excellent. Everyone should try the cauliflower appetizer.
The only consideration is that the price rating on review sites should have an extra dollar sign... $$$$$... truffles at $10 per ounce? I love mushrooms but come on, really? And a $375 Tomahawk 50oz Ribeye... sure the table could share it but how good can that large of a cut of meat really be?
All that saying. I’ll go back...After I sell a kidney to afford it.
Really though, it was very, very nice and for Valentine’s Day celebration... it was AWSOME.
IMO, overpriced. Good wines on the list were substantially more expensive IMO than at similar establishments. Same cocktail would come different every time. The venison was very gamy.
The food was very good, but it took a long time to get to us.
My wife’s birthday
Great food and service. A little loud but ok. Some drinks were overpriced
The restaurant is very attractive, we’ve eaten at the Ritz many times.
Pros and cons
The restaurant was not very busy but the first table offered was next to the water serving bar, the least desirable table
We settled on a table in the main room.
Our waiter wasn’t looking well and said he had a cold. Poor boy should have been home. We hope no one catches his cold
Appitizer of fois grad was attractive but was mushy, not very good.
Main dish of scallops was barely warm, our guest should have sent it back but we had waited a while to be served and she was hungry.
But cool scallops! And a pricey dish too.
Other guest must have enjoy his dish, he didn’t complain.
My veg plate was very good. Brussel sprouts a bit too burned.
My husband’s venison was tough. He wasn’t pleased.
Your warm bread is delicious
We decided against dessert.
Everyone’s impression was the same, there are several other really good restaurants that serve better food.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is spectacular!!!
My family of three enjoyed a ski lunch at WYLD at the Ritz Carlton. Food was outstanding — we ordered tuna cones, salmon, mushroom ramen and the burger (which was excellent, albeit $41). The ambience looking out on the mountain is wonderful. But the tab at $175 including gratuity (and no alcohol) was steep even for the Ritz.
The menu was very limited without the entrees that they are well know for, I have eaten far better all over the world for less ! quite overpriced
Xmas day dining with family. This is not our first time at Wyld and although the Ritz @ Bachelor’s gulch is pretty amazing, this restaurant does not make the grade. Food was below average (ie black truffle mac n cheese without any trace of truffle). The service was also below par. The waiter was polite but unable to fulfill our basic requests probably due to the multitude of staffers who appear with parts of one’s request unaware of any specific details ( like who asked for what). Such qualms would be acceptable at a cheaper joint , but not at the Ritz Carlton. Needs work! We told the manager , mid meal, who thanked us but did nothing to enhanse our experience.
It was my first time there, and the food was delicious! The king salmon was so good, it just melted in your mouth! My server Jeff was a real and humble guy when he took our order, he is a good server!. Also our busser Patrick was a down to earth guy as well. The atmosphere of WYLD was elegant, and warm. 10/10!
Fantastic, pricey but worth it if you appreciate fine dining.
The tuna appetizer is phenomenal! Must try!
Amazing experience. From the moment we walked in all our needs we taken care of. We had a drink prior to dinner at the bar and the moment we were done the hostess was there to seat us. Every course was presented in perfect timing and every one was better then the previous. This dinner was the best one I have had in the valley.
We celebrated our 10th anniversary at Wyld and the staff went out of their way to make us feel special. A champagne toast and just incredible service from everyone. And the food was AMAZING. We will definitely be back. Wonderful experience from start to finish.
Really enjoyed the quality service at the bar and in the restaurant. The Ahi Tuna Cones appetizer was recommended by a couple of people, and it did not disappoint. We had a cozy & romantic booth table that we would recommend for a date night!
The food was ok,but definitely not worth the price. I am not a great cook and my salmon was better than what we had. Additionally, the taxes were 15.3%. We will not be back.
The maitre D was great. Server did a good job.
We had a Belgian waffle and eggs benedict.
The waffle was good. The eggs benedict was poor.
The smallest eggs I have ever seen. Probably quail eggs.
The piece of ham was wafer thin and the muffin was so stale it was impossible to cut.
My wife said it looked painful!
The food here is sublime. I am a serious omnivore but I ended up ordering 3 separate vegetarian items from the menu (the eggplant feature, the head of cauliflower and the brussel sprouts. Honestly, divine. My husband had the duck and it was outstanding. Great food doesn't come cheap ;)
Sitting outside is beautiful, the food is delicious and the servers are diverse and friendly. What more could you want?
There was a lot of tinder flying in the from the camp fire.
We sat outside and had live music, patio lighting, a heater for after dark, and the waiter even brought out a blanket incase I was chilly. The salmon was done perfectly. We shared the crispy Brussel sprouts and carrots which were prepared so well we could've made a meal out of the side selections alone. The waiter for engaging and attentive. We had a beautiful dinner al fresco in Batchelor Gulch.
I had the same chicken dish twice. The first time it was nice and crispy and really good. This evening someone put a brown sauce over it. It tasted fine BUT the cripsness was destroyed. Food needs consistency.
Great service. Food was really good. Wine even better!
Food was extremely average considering the price.
Mother’s Day Brunch. There did not seem to be near enough wait staff. We never saw our waiter but once. We had to ask for coffee refills and to clear soiled plates. Hunter- the manager took care of us - but he had so many other responsibilities.
No Filet at a steakhouse nor kids steak options was a big disappointment. This is located in a high end hotel with families with kids. Steak was dry, flavorless and very hard to cut into. Food doesn't mirror the quality of the hotel and ambiance.
Excellent food, beautiful decor but very very pricey even for New York standards. However, we loved it and will be back!
Food not good. Had to send cabbage back due to gritty texture. Another table did the same. Cooks obviously not washing veggies.
Absolutely fantastic dining experiece - probably the best my wife and i have had in over 10 years of Dining in the valley- great service, food and atmosphere!
The ambiance was warm and intimate, the food was exquisite and the service was impeccable. Ben, the sommelier impressed us with his wealth of wine knowledge and our server Will was genuine and attentive. This was the perfect place to spend my birthday. Thank you to the entire staff for making it special!
Multiple menu items were not available and waitress very rude.
Always a nice dinner at WYLD!
The food, service and setting were all outstanding. We look forward to returning soon.
Outstanding food, service, and drinks. Kyle was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The courses were beautiful to look at and perfectly prepared. Every bite was delicious. Best meal on the mountain.
