We have tried lots of outstanding restaurants in Denver & Boulder. Wildflower is on par with Frasca for sure! This was our first time at the restaurant and we were all really impressed with the food and service. The focaccia was amazing!

Such a wonderful dinner! We were celebrating our anniversary and had the chef’s tasting menu with the wine pairing. Everything was exquisite…such a wonderful array of flavors and textures and the presentation of each dish was beautiful. Wine selections were some of the best we’ve ever had with a pairing! We will definitely be back!

considering the price ($250 for two people), which had an automatic gratuity of 24% included (ie almost at $60/tip), the service was really poor. Had the wrong food brought to our table...not once (that happens) but twice in the same sitting. The first time, it was another tables order, we let the runner know before he even dropped it..all good. The second time was a problem though - we had our first course (bread and spring pea dish)...it was good, they cleared it...then the food runner brought out our "2nd course"...it was the same as our first course....they had made our first course twice. This then messed up the rest of the night, since the kitchen decided to put us at the back of the line for the how the courses came out...so instead of getting it fixed ASAP, they then brought us our 2nd course when it would have been time to get our 3rd course...basically we just got skipped and they treated the mistake as if we were eating food the whole time...this then caused no one to check in our table (no 'how's the food tasing...because we had no food). and no food to bring us until they our rotation for the "3rd course" came up.. so our drinks and table sat empty for a solid 15 minutes. The 3rd course was not quite what we were expecting either...we had ordered the "grilled artichoke"....expecting a fresh, warm, grilled artichoke heart, but instead got a cold, marinate artichoke heart (ie from a jar), that just had some grill marks on it. The entrees came out...and they had got our order wrong...we had ordered halibut and duck...and got halibut and gnocchi...and the halibut was undercooked, but even then, the cooked part was mealy, not firm. was actually pretty concerned when I left, as had an overwhelming 'fishy' tase lingering in my mouth (left half the fish on the plate). I think the service could be really be summed up as...not once was my water glass re-filled, which to me is a standard practice for "nice" places.

Generous portions, fantastic flavors and service was top notch. Wish the wine list were more eclectic but all wines were nice and the cocktails were great, as well.

I was not sure about the place as the 5 star reviews can be misleading. I was glad my skepticism was wrong. We put our trust in the restaurant and went with the bouquet. 6-7 small plates were served and they were all amazing. We will come back with friends and family.
