It was a busy day, there were 6 of us and it took a long time to get our food. The food was great just slow. The room was louder than I would have liked. Overall I would recommend and I will be back!

Wine in particular is rather pricey. Also, when you don't have a couple of items on the menu, you should tell the customer as soon as they start looking at the menu. Don't make the customers guess & fail while they are ordering. The place didn't feel as upscale as I had imagined it would.

This is a wine tasting room plus food service in downtown Roanoke. The place is spacious with display of various wines made by this wine maker. They are wine maker, and get their grapes from other people’s vineyards. The wines are inexpensive but are very good. We chose their flight of 4 different wines, both white and red. We ordered baked oysters as appetizer, and vegetable and cheese flatbread, and salmon as entrees. The food is well cooked and tasty. We enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended.

We went here expecting a finer dining experience. This is not fine dining, it was so bright in the dining room, the menu was not a fine dining menu. We ended up getting a round of drinks, a flight of wine and went elsewhere for food. (The review made me rate food so it’s not an accurate food rating)

What a wonderful find. While a great wine tasting location, it also has wonderful food as well, paired well with the wines. Service was great as well (big plus to Chelsey).

Food was excellent as we had the crostini & two flatbreads. Service was very good also. We were there on a Wednesday night. The wine though was average at best. We did enjoy the port but the reds were a little disappointing. Maybe the whites would have been a better tasting selection.

The spinach salad was very good. Also ordered the cajun butternut squash pasta which was very tasty, but could have used more pasta. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Service was incredibly slow, as every other time I've gone. They were out of the pork item on the menu. $30 filet dish was overcooked. Didn't dare send it back as it already took forever to come out the first time. Told server but did nothing about it. Mashed potatoes were watery. Cheesecake tasted like a no bake mix. Will not be going back.

Mussels were incredible, sadly 4 mussels never opened. Server who wore all the hats was extremely friendly but stretched far too thin. Just seemed very understaffed.

I went on a Saturday night and the place was half empty and VERY bright. Way too bright for a bar/restaurant and a very cold feeling atmosphere with throw rugs under the individual tables. Weird. The food was mixed. Muscles were good but flatbread was terrible. My fault for missing it, but it was smothered in Alfredo sauce. I understand that some like funky pizzas but I ordered the margarita to keep it simple and plain. What arrived looked terrible and I had to scrape everything off. Bartender was nice but could not offset ambience and food.

I'm not sure how you can give Well Hung Vineyard a bad review? From the time we stepped in, we felt welcomed. The decor was a surprise with a ton of natural light throughout! Within a few minutes of sitting down, we were given a sample of Well Hung Vineyard NUTS - How funny is this! Our server, Mikayla was kind of enough to confirm no peanut allergies prior to delivering their nuts! Their nuts were phenomenal! We ordered a cocktail each, and their tempura shrimp app. The mixture of taste was something we haven't found in Roanoke. The cocktails were also on point!! The smoked old fashion was delightful. Our entrees were amazing and priced well for Roanoke and similar restaurants! I'm a red wine person, so I ordered their Petit Verdot which I loved! My wife ordered their Pinot Grigio, named Pillow Talk! We enjoyed their wine so much, we purchased 3 bottles to go! We will be back, and wanted to thank you Mikayla for an enjoyable visit!!

Mixed drink was awful, Cabernet Sauvignon was not that good and their special macaroni and cheese was nothing special. For all the hype this restaurant generates, I was very disappointed. Would not go back.

I had the Raspberry french toast, which consisted of 4 pieces of bread with a thin layer of cheese and Raspberry. There were some lettuce leafs under the bread,some powdered sugar. Needed fresh Raspberries or other fruit. Overpriced at $15. At 11:30am were sold out of the drink of the day.

The food is fantastic. We had the shrimp and grits and the salmon. Their Old Fashions are also tasty if a bit pricey. We went early so it wasn't super loud, but there are a lot of hard surfaces, and it does get noisy when it is crowded. Still totally worth it!

Delicious and great service as always! Only suggestion is to inform when menu items are unavailable - disappointed when attempted to order entree but couldn’t. Wellhung oysters were absolutely phenomenal and everyone should be sure to indulge in the bacon jam on the charcuterie plate!

The food was okay. They don’t have any sides or side salads. The shrimp and grits were very greasy, not creamy. I think it’s more of a place where you should just drink wine and order a charcuterie board.

A very good find in downtown Roanoke! We enjoyed mussels in white wine, which were very tender and the broth was good for dipping...we also had 2 different flatbread pizzas - also fresh, delicious and innovative...can't say enough about the service - attentive, knowledgeable and friendly....worth the trip downtown!

As usual the food was excellent, however only one server was scheduled that evening and she was trying to take care of up to 9 tables simultaneously. She was doing her best and was put in a tough situation by management; as a result, the service was less than desirable.

The waitress forgot to put one of orders in & didn’t realize until almost 30 minutes later after the kitchen was closed. She even came back & said the order would be right out. Was really disappointed.

The food, service and ambience was amazing! We had a great night. Just be prepared to pay $25 for a flight of mimosas that equal about one actual mimosa. The wine is about $13 a glass. The martini was small and $15. The most economical way to go is to share a bottle of wine, but some of those are around $49. Again, amazing night, but super expensive.

Great atmosphere, waiters were awesome. Charcuterie plate was amazing, my favorite was the bacon jam 😎. Wine tasting for my wife and we ended up ordering a bottle of Under the Table white to go. If you’re looking for a nice elegant evening with your significant other, this is the place to go.

Pros : Modern ambience Knowledgeable and helpful white staff Cons: Food was tasty, but over priced for the amount of food. we were a group of five and ordered three appetizers and three dinners… The oysters were $30 for six tiny oysters that kind of thing. Would like to have seen the burger come with a side instead of just a bag of chips. The mimosa samplers were fun

Great food, but the ambience needs serious help. The restaurant is bizarrely configured and the tables and chairs are incredibly uncomfortable. Would have drank more, but my butt hurt due to those dreadful chairs.

We ate when a large party was present in one corner of the restaurant which meant the noise levels were high (accentuated by the tall open plan nature of the building). Putting that aside, the food and service were excellent. Food prices were fine. Wine prices were a bit high (particularly per glass).

The food was delicious, but the service was a little disjointed. Our server was very nice but didn't seem to really have it together. Ordering drinks other than wine was a little confusing. Overall, it was a nice experience and we would go back.
