Waterman's Restaurant has a terrific low key ambiance and has been serving seafood to patrons for years. Party of six, seated and waited on quickly. Half of us loved our food, half of us thought it was decent. But the most epic parts were the great waitress who served with a smile and then the CHEESECAKE!!!!! We were there celebrating my 50th birthday, I'm a cheesecake lover, and that cheesecake was THE best I've ever tasted!!

It took an hour for us to get our deink order. Reservations were at eight appetizers came before drinks did not get food till 10. And then to top it off, they added 22% gratuity to our bill.

Food and service was great. If you’ve been out on the water all day then dining on the patio is ideal. For a nice evening dinner/date dining in is highly recommended. The dining area is very nice. Pets are welcomed on the patio and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Amazing food and service! We loved the local red snapper. We ate outside which was very relaxed and a great welcome dinner for the beach vacation. The inside dining experience was more upscale though casual enough for a nice family dinner. The location was perfect; on the bay close to all the vacation rental houses so you don't have to drive so far back into Galveston. Highly recommend!

This is a restaurant that could be great, but it has a long way to go. We had a party of 9 and the server struggled to manage the table. Service was slow and stilted. The food was mediocre. It was not a busy evening so we were surprised by the subpar experience. One of the meals came out 15 minutes after everyone else was served. Not once did a manager come by to check on us.
