Waterman's Restaurant is a cozy seafood restaurant overlooking the Galveston Bay. The views from here are absolutely stunning, and the food just makes it even better. It has an extensive bar that offers up an array of possibilities, while the abundance of available seating outside offers up a great opportunity to have healthy conversation with friends and family.

Waterman's Restaurant has a terrific low key ambiance and has been serving seafood to patrons for years. Consider ordering the salmon, which is grilled to perfection and served over a bed of rice, as it comes highly recommended by many.     We had a reservation for 6:45pm and we waited at the hostess stand for quite a while as they tried to accommodate walk ins with no reservation. After we were seated, no one waited on us for 20 minutes probably. I went back up to the hostess and asked if someone could take our drink order. Finally someone came around. I think they never assigned the table as we were being seated. The food was good and the waiter was nice. The facility was also very dirty and needs a good cleaning.

    We come to Galveston at least once a year every year and this restaurant is number one on our list of places to eat at. The food and atmosphere are amazing!

    I ordered the pasta with 3 grilled shrimp, 2 scallops and 1 oz of crab meat on top. I thought it would be a larger portion of pasta, especially for $38. I know you are paying waterfront prices but the prices were very steep for the amount of food you were served. Next time, I am going to order a house salad and the tuna appetizer because that was more food and lower cost than a small portion of seafood on pasta.

    Great meal as always! We love to dine here when we are in Galveston. Our waiter Jaime was the kindest young man!! My daughter is disabled and in a wheelchair and 9/10 times people will ask me what she would like. Jaime didn’t do that. He brought her a glass of water like he did for the other kids at the table, without being asked. He treated my daughter like an actual person instead of as an afterthought. I couldn’t have been more grateful for that small detail. We will 10000000% be back next time we are in Galveston!!

    Party of six, seated and waited on quickly. Half of us loved our food, half of us thought it was decent. But the most epic parts were the great waitress who served with a smile and then the CHEESECAKE!!!!! We were there celebrating my 50th birthday, I'm a cheesecake lover, and that cheesecake was THE best I've ever tasted!!
