   We showed up 30 minutes early, and they were nice enough to see us promptly! Restaurant grew more crowded as we were there, but it didn’t stop the wonderful service that we experienced. Our server was very attentive, even timed our dishes coming out in such a way that there was no rush as we had two hours to spare before going to see Hamilton at the local performing arts center. We had the raw oysters, six West Coast six East Coast and they wereexcellent! Great sizes too! They were kind enough to cut the cob salad for us, and the bacon and blue cheese were phenomenal! I enjoyed the Oysters Rockefeller and Halibut cheek, which was very fresh! The butter and fennel sauce they set the pieces of cheek in was a little overpowering for my taste. I took the pieces out and after draining the sauce off as much as I could, enjoyed them very much! I’ve always enjoyed the Oysters Rockefeller here, get them every time as they are quite good sized and the mixture that they bake them in is fantastic! The only drawback was the clam chowder. I’ve never had clam chowder before that had three clams still in the open shell, served in the soup. I’m not sure I like sticking my fingers in the soup to get the oyster out of the shell. But it tasted great! Will certainly return again!

   Our waiter was attentive, patient and very knowledgeable about the menu. She made great efforts to check in with the chef about specific questions we had about certain raw bar orders. Great drink selection and AMAZING oyster bar!

   Really appreciate our wader's service and follow up. Very professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. We had a very enjoyable evening. Food and drinks were amazing!

   This location was very good for seeing a show after at segerstrom. A huge variety of seafood, mostly healthy and not everything fried. Actually very little is fried. The sourdough rolls with salted butter were simple and a great start. The sides easily feed 3 people. The seating is cozy and if you are a two top expect to be 12” from a four top. 4 top gets the best normal distance seating from another table. But the dining room is lively so it ended up being fine.

   10/10 Service and setting. Fantastic staff and cozy ambience. Everything from the oyster bar was of course excellent. Surf and turf combo was good but the sides stood out more. Over all a great spot for any occasion and won’t hesitate to dine again!

    We had fantastic service and a delicious dinner before walking over to Segerstrom to Hamilton. It's convenient to leave the car in the Water Grill valet. Always a wonderful meal and experience at Water Grill. Thank you!
