   Amazing food. Everything cooked perfection I had the Alaskan king crab legs. They were expensive however they were amazing. I enjoyed every leg. They gave me dripping with butter. Also the coleslaw that accompanied the entrée was nothing like I’ve ever had. Flavor was wonderful as well as the texture and had small golden raisins mixed inside. We went for our 42nd anniversary and actually decided to cancel our reservation at Astros to come to the water Grill. Also, the service was impeccable our server. Samantha was very personable and helpful in making wine choices and gave us a very special dessert at the end of the meal. I would recommend the water grill we went around 3 o’clock and it wasn’t very busy on a Wednesday so it wasn’t that crowded and the noise level was low. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It may be a little pricey however what isn’t nowadays?

   Unfortunately, I ordered the Shrimp Louie.  That was the first time I’ve ever ordered that salad and it was awful.. from the wilted lettuce, to bitter dressing.  on top of that we had food delivered to our table that we didn’t order, and trying to get anybody to come back and fix the order to even just getting water was next to impossible. for example, I asked for the blue cheese dressing which I love,  it was finally delivered to our table when everybody was done eating. I literally sat there for over 15 minutes, waiting for dressing . Very strange. We’ve been coming here for years, but last night made me not want to come back any time soon.

   My fish and my daughter’s cheeseburger came out a little overcooked so they were dry. The service was great and ambiance was nice I just would have expected the food to have been cooked a lot better. It was quite busy with Mother’s Day so I’m sure that played into it.

    Want a great, attentive, knowledgeable server? Sit in Brandon’s station. He had wonderful recommendations that did not disappoint. We started with the grilled octopus (which was a bit chewy) while Brandon offered to get a new order made, It was Mother’s Day and the restaurant deserved a bit of grace. Service was impeccable. Bowl of delicious clam chowder, two light fried fish tacos and a small chilled seafood platter was a perfect meal for Mother’s Day. I took half my chilled seafood home. And don’t forget to indulge on the rolls!! A couple of old fashions (by suggestion) incredible French pressed coffee and chocolate Ganache dessert rounded out one very delish meal. Kudos to the kitchen team, chef and wait staff! Would I come back? Heck ya!! The bonus? Complimentary valet before 4p.
