First of all the service is always fantastic, the food amazing, and ability to bring in a bottle of wine with no corkage fee phenominal. Great way to spend a "Corona Virus" day
one of the best seafood place that I have visited so far. Service was great too. with COVID 19, I wish they sit us with little spaces in between with other parties.
We had early dinner reservations before a play and kept the reservations when the play was canceled. The service was terrible. We were constantly looking for our waiter and service. The food was fine. This restaurant is probably good for a quick meal before an entertainment event, but it is definitely far from fine dining.
We enjoyed the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. They gave us excellent service, suggesting wines and food. The food was delicious especially the Chilean sea bass. It made a great anniversary dinner.
The food was consistently over seasoned. The crabcakes were too spicy. Our attentive waitress immediately offered us a different appetizer option- the calamari, but it was salty and again too spicy, even without the dipping sauce. We shared the scallops, not realizing the dinner portion only had four medium sized scallops. At this price point I expect much better. Finally, on a rainy evening with very few patrons, we waited in the rain vainly looking for a valet, I finally had to go find one to get my car. If you haven’t been to water grill before- save yourself the trouble and go down the street to capital grille instead .
food selection is limited. Food quality is so so.
The proximity to Bristol makes it loud with the road noise. Service was subpar...water glass was empty all the time and we had to ask to have empty plates removed.
Great seafood and service
Excellent food choices, very comfortable environment, outstanding service
It was a wonderful experience! Sure we come back!!
Nice restaurant, outstanding seafood and shellfish options. I love the restaurant style. We chose the bar area, nice seating and our bartender was great.
The atmosphere is amazing! Very impressive! The food was wonderful and our server was outstanding. We will most definitely be back!
I was surprised the food wasn’t that good, service was decent and nice place, but for the price there are many other places to get a better meal.
We’ve been dining here for a while - it’s getting a tad boring in terms of the menu. Time to change things up!
Water Grill is great upscale experience for those looking a for high end dining experience. The restaurant is located close to the Performing Arts Center is the perfect spot for catching some cocktails before or after a show.
We went for brunch and the food was average. The salmon hash with eggs was very greasy. The ambiance is always delightful but very noisy. Still a great place to go as high energy and the service is great.
Great food! Service was great as usual. I had mentioned that one of the dishes was not what I had expected and the next thing, I was speaking with the evening manager, who apologized for the dish and took it off my bill, which was not my intention, but they were quite apologetic. A very good touch of class.
If I had one complaint is the noise factor. Every table is very close to each other and does require raising the noise level.
I would recommend this restaurant everyday.
The servers were very attentive but the food was quite disappointing for the price - salty and lacked flavor.
Our server was amazing. Chose the perfect wine, so friendly. Best experience I have had there so far!!
Going backward...the key lime pie is the best I have ever had. Crisp, delicious crust. Creamy, tart filling. Perfect meringue.
Dinner was delicious. Shrimp and grits (be sure to ask them to take off the shells!) and whole fish was wonderful.
Appetizer of stone crab claws. Wonderful. They only brought 1 small sauce. That's silly. We asked for another one.
The bread consistency and how it looks are great. But, they don't really taste that good. One has salt on top. And the butter has salt on top. Crazy! Too salty. Easy fixes. Wish they would.
It's a very noisy restaurant. I think it's the acoustics. Full or not, it's noisy.
Our meal and service were both exceptional. We requested a table near a wall or in a corner when I made the reservation, as I have hearing issues. With a little encouragement from my wife a suitable table was found for us.
Great place to eat before a show at theater nearby.
The food and service are outstanding. The server was helpful but allowed us to enjoy our meal and dining experience without unnecessarily interrupting us.
We had an outstanding night. Great food. Great service. We will go back!
The food was delicious and the service was very good.
We brought customers to the restaurant, as they have never been. The service was extremely slow. Our reservation was for 7:30, yet we left the restaurant at 10:30. We loved the oysters, both raw and Rockafeller, but our meals were just ok. We had the King Salmon and Sea Bass, and they both came pretty sparse with no sauce of any kind. The sides were very sparse, unless you order extra sides. The only hit, besides the oysters, was the spiny grilled lobster dish. We may return, but won't order the salmon or the sea bass again.
This is a great seafood restaurant. Definitely try the lobster roll.
This is a place to impress people or if you are on an expense account. It does deliver some excellent seafood and interesting preparations for the money. The service tries hard to be upscale but not stuffy, and mostly they are fine. We've been before at lunch and it was terrific. This time at dinner, the food came out in very strange bursts and long pauses - after we waited nearly 30 minutes for dessert, they ended up comping the dessert for the long wait. And yet the entrees came out so quickly after the apps we barely had time to relax and had to flag a random waiter down to get more drinks. Our waiter was knowledgeable and nice, but disappeared for long periods of time, especially towards the end of the meal, even though the restaurant had emptied out by that time. That said, random service glitches don't diminish the quality of the seafood and the expert preparation, and we will be back!
IT WAS EXTREMELY LOUD. WE HAVE BEEN THERE MANY TIMES.
I ORDERED SCALLOPS AND WERE GRITTY. I SENT THEM BACK, BUT THE REPLACEMENT WASN’T ANY
OTHER THAN THE SPINY LOBSTER WHICH I’VE HAD A
FEW TIMES, THE FOOD HAS BEEN DISAPPOINTING LATELY.
Excellent ! All around !
Birthday party fun!
Thank you for keeping the kitchen open for our group of artists from the Pacific Symphony. Great to have a place to visit after concerts.
It was great...we had a wonderful evening. The food, and wine were superb, and the service was impeccable. Our wait staff were friendly, and went out of their way to make sure our experience was terrific.
Great food and great atmosphere !
Will go back soon !
Great food, service and ambiance. Definitely will visit again.
A beautiful dining experience from start to finish. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding!
The waiter was awesome I wish I could remember his name. Great service and food.
The food was amazing! We ordered an appetizer and dinner and the food came out in perfect time. We didn’t feel rushed to finish our appetizer because our dinner was waiting. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night.
Great food, excellent service (thank you Ali). Love the decor and “open” kitchen. The restaurant is large and open and seems prone to groups of 4+ enjoying social gatherings - all positive, but can get a bit noisy. So, if you are looking for cozy, quiet, and “romantic” this might not be a good fit.
