About this restaurant

Wahleeah is London's only craft beer focused restaurant. Inspired by the all day dining scene of NYC Wahleeah redefines neighbourhood dining. With a strong focus on farm to table sourcing for our menu we incorporate our beers into the cooking of many of our dishes. Everything from salt to cheese is made from scratch in house and served from our open kitchen. With a beer pairing for each dish Wahleeah opens up the world of craft beer to the London dining scene. Designed to remind you of a 1950's New York subway station our bar serves 40 beers, 21 of which are on draught and includes our own specially brewed Wahleeah Beer. You can pour yourself a drink from our beer wall and enjoy something light to eat from our unique bar menu all in one of the coolest surroundings in the city.

This was our third visit and things have definitely got better! The food has always been excellent and the menu has been different each time. We had the Rib of Beef which was excellent & a real winter warmer. This visit also offered us the opportunity to have a bottle of wine with our meal rather than by the glass! The service was good and the staff are very friendly. My only criticism is that the restaurant is rather cold, the plates don't appear to be warmed for serving and as a result the food chills quickly!

This was our 2nd visit and the food on both occasions has been good. Different menu each time with varied flavours, textures & good presentation. The service needs to improve, we ordered drinks with our food order on both occasions and it took too long to come. When we dined the first time about 4weeks ago, there was only house wine on offer. This week we were pleased to be shown a wine list- we ordered a bottle only to be told they didn't have any bottles of any wine & we had to order by the glass! The excellent food offer is going to be let down by the amateurish service and the limited wine offer.

The food is mouthwatering and everything is made from scratch including the salt! You can also have normal salt so they are super accommodating and not full of themselves. I had the pork and it is the best pork I have had. The apple pie was also lovely and now that chicken shop changed their recipe- I prefer this apple pie! The cocktails were great, and so was the expanding wine list. I didn't have the beer but my boyfriend did. I have been struggling to find a place that I can relax for brunch or lunch or dinner and have found it at wahleeah. It epitomizes cool when you enter, with great music and a warmth that reminds me of Cheers! Lovely service and I can't wait to go back!!

A wide and varied menu gave plenty of options. Thankfully the waiting on staff were happy to give their suggestions and we were not disappointed by their suggestions. The food was perfect, different, and full of flavour. Each dish had an optional beer pairing that just works (I'm more of an IPA than a lager drinker, but the lager paired with the chicken dish complemented each other perfectly). Must go back and try their brunch options

The service was excellent, really friendly staff. The food was delicious and really good value. Fun idea that you can pull your own pints on from taps on the wall! Quiet for a Friday which was fine if you are there to eat but may not be what you want if you are going for drinks and want a bit of an atmosphere. Although saying that is was early so may liven up later on and it is only due to it being off the main high street and no reflection on what a cool place it is. We will definitely be going back!

Went in for lunch, menu has real variety of option if you want something quick or a more casual experience. Highly recommend trying all the sauces - beer ketchup was great! Desserts fantastic and a must try - we had the brownie and beer ice cream and the chilli cheesecake which is a must try and not too hot at all. Will definitely be back again!

We have been already twice at this very interesting local gem, still unknown to the crowd. Situated in a relaxed road just next to Fulham broadway tube station, the ambient of this restaurant is something between a new york brasserie, an industrial loft and an an eclectic London pub in the bar area. What is more relevabt is that you probably get the widest chioce of beers, and I mean good and well researched jewels from around the world, in London. The concept is to offer a food and beer matching during your dining experience. If you think, as we did, that beer is beer and would taste the same with every food...well, think again. Go and try. The experience was great. From white Belgian beer with mussels to an aromatic Indian Pale Ale to match the flavours from their superb chicken balls to a brown american ale to go with a delicious rib eye, the experience is worth a shot. Enjoy!

Saw the article about Wahleeah in the evening standard so I have been wanting to go for a while. I went there with my boyfriend. They have done the restaurant in such a cool way- it looks like a Brooklyn tube station! Staff were nice and welcoming and I was glad to see a trendy restaurant in Fulham. I had the burger and my boyfriend had the 42 day aged ribeye, both were INCREDIBLE. The quality of the meat and the way they cooked it is fantastic. The fries with the mustard & beer sauce go perfectly with it as well. We also shared the oxtail as a starter which was lovely. For the drinks, my boyfriend had the wahleeah beer, their homemade beer, he said it was very nice and then he tried one of the hundred beers from the menu which he liked very much as well. I am more a wine lover so I had a glass of red wine. I was surprised as there is only one choice of wine on the menu but it was a very good one actually. I am French and can be very snobbish with wine but it was perfect. Planning to come back with a few friends as the restaurant is quite big and is definitely a good place to come in a group of 4-6 people. Good value for money as well, sizes are huge. Try the burger and the ribeye, it is really worth it. I will let you know about the rest of the menu when I go back very soon! Slightly off the beaten track, its a cool place just as if it have landed from Manhattan, the staff are cool and really nice and helpful too. The food is interesting and based around beer. All the food options were winners and I really likes their own brewed beer too. I really want this place to be a success, its the coolest place in Fulham lets keep it going. Pop in and have a chat with the staff or order snack, you will love the vibe!

I went to Wahleeah on a Friday evening for dinner in a group of two you couples and we had a fantastic experience. First things first. You go to a restaurant to eat, as a foodie this is my no1 priority. Their food is just out of this world. We wanted to try many things so we got 4 starters and 4 mains and kept rotating. Every dish was great. The oxtail starter is the best meat starter I have had in my life and the mussels with the ham on the beer sauce beat any Belgian restaurant in London. I won't get started on the desert because this weird word countdown on the Opentable site is telling me I am running out of words fast! We also thought the environment was perfect for us. The place is very trendy (exposed brick wall, open view to the kitchen, funky wall decoration, cool tables and chairs) and the music has a good vibe and it's in the right volume so you can have a conversation with people on the other side of the table (usually a problem with restaurants in London). Finally, one thing about the beer matching. I am a big wine fun and have always associated beer with football, guys shouting, drunk people on the floor etc etc. Well, Wahleeah made me change my mind completely. Their beers are fresh (90 days old max) which I realised makes a huge difference and there is indeed a beer for every dish. We got a full-bodied red beer for the stake, which worked great, a honey blond beer for the ricotta dumplings, a Belgian blond beer for the mussels (that was a no brainer) and another new up-and-coming American lager for the chicken dish. Every beer felt that it was the right drink precisely for the dish it is paired with. I have already been back for Sunday brunch which was also great and on a difference menu. I will be going back again for sure!
