About this restaurant

VBL is the flagship restaurant from the award-winning chef & restaurateur Vineet Bhatia. VBL only offers a tasting journey from our experience menu. Set within a lovingly restored Georgian townhouse, the calming light greys interspersed with splashes of yellow & ornate tiles, strike a balance between the contemporary & the original features of the 100-year-old building. The restaurant’s personal touches reinforced by the doorbell to gain entry lend a homely feel. The main dining area seats 32 between two rooms & the two private dining rooms on the 1st floor seat 12 in the Lutyens & 8 in the Wittet.
The concept offers around five & six courses proceeded by a selection of delicate canapés & ending in a flourish of desserts; is a chance to uniquely experience three decades spent pushing the possibilities & challenging the perception of his native cuisine. Marrying east & west, the menu represents a completely original cuisine of today with notes of what might be possible tomorrow.
