   The food is amazing. First off best queso and chips I’ve ever had in my life. Everything we had tasted great. I recommend going in warmer weather because it was chilly in there because it was so cold outside. The fried ice cream dessert was the bomb!!!

   We sat upstairs in the patio/bar area, and our servicer/bartender J was phenomenal. She was attentive, detailed, courteous, helpful, and pleasant. In fact, observing her interactions, she was this way with all of her customers. She says she normally works evenings but came in early today. She is definitely the reason for a 5 star overall rating.

   Food was average. We had a party for 10 that we had reserved in advance and it took forever for us to be greeted. Our server was below average at best. She didn’t know the difference between cocktail napkins and the regular ones that have the silverware because the table wasn’t even fully ready when we sat down. Normally that wouldn’t bother me and I’d laugh it off but it just added to the negative experience. Server wasn’t attentive either. It took unusually long to get our food ordered and once we asked for the bill it was at least 25 mins before she brought it back to us and mind you it was a Tuesday night and there was hardly anyone there. There shouldn’t have been any reason to wait that long. I will say though I would try going again on a weekend later at night because it does seem like it could be fun I just think for some reason we had a negative experience

   We’ve been here several times and unfortunately this wasn’t the best experience. The waitress was nice but she wasn’t attentive at all. Multiple things were forgotten. We received some chips and there was a hair in it.

   Disingenuous experience ~ this was our fourth visit from out of town, each time with introductions to different friends and relatives. I had reservations weeks in advance, and we promptly arrived for an early dinner before the theater. We were seated at a table that had water leaking from the overhead patio roof and were told all other tables had been reserved. We had to use a towel to catch the water the entire time while 2/3s of the restaurant remained unused. The service was sporadic and the food was subpar compared to previous visits. What a disappointment for us when we have a choice among hundreds of great Dallas establishments. Suffice it to say, there will not be a repeat visit after being disrespected from beginning to end..

    Our waiter was so cool and chill, only reason I gave 4 stars was because the hostesses took forever to sit us at a table that was open since we had walked in right next to the door.
