Viale Pizza and Kitchen
Such amazing food and wine! And, the servers were so accommodating and flexible working with me on my reservations... I'll definitely go back!
pleasantly surprised!! Very enjoyable evening! wonderful waitress!
Second time visiting this restaurant. Pizza was very good. Pleasant staff and professional service. Crowded on a Thursday night. Reservations are a good idea.
Our now go to Italian. Amazing food, great price range and simply a new taste! Congratulations Viale. I'm spreading the word!
This visit to Viale, is probably our 8th time enjoying the wonderful food and fine service that Viale Pizza and Kitchen has provided us each time we have been there. My wife and I try enjoy something different on the menu each time we are there. All the new items we have tried have been outstanding. Tonight I tried the Chicken Parmesan with Rigatoni and my wife the Traditional Bolognese and each dish was wonderful.
The owner and food is amazing
Viale is a great neighborhood family restaurant that is always good. It serves excellent food and craft cocktails.
Location is great for us .Close to home. Must make a reservation on the weekends. My boyfriend created his own pizza. It was great. We are pizza snobs and he said he would go back for pizza. The housemade burrata platter was good. Honestly, the cheese has little flavor ,but we like all of the other tasty things on the plate; bread, pesto, tomatoes etc. Next time we would try a salad instead. I had the veal saltimbocca. I didn't love it. The sauted spinach was overcooked and dripping in olive oil. The taste with garlic was good, just overcooked. The veal is so thinly cut, that it was easy to overcook. And it was. I would not order that again. Pasta for me next time. But we enjoyed the evening (good glass of wine) and will go back for other menu choices.
My friends and I were craving some good italian cuisine and we found it here! Yelp did not steer us wrong and we enjoyed great drinks, salads, meal and desserts. Excellent service, food and value. Getting checked on about our experience by the owner was also very nice. My bolognese was outstanding as was the chicken parmesan and veal saltimbocca of my friends. You will not leave disappointed, I promise you!
From beginning to end serve was great. The food was even better. Dessert was extraordinary. If we have time during our trip I hope we can make it back there. If not maybe another trip in the future will be in order
We enjoyed our dinner at Viale very much. Reasonable prices and good food.
Love this little gem
Food was great, menu varied. Service was good until we got our check. He dropped it at the table and never picked it up. We sat there for 20 minutes before hunting someone down so we could pay. Wouldn’t be a big deal but it was a weekday lunch and we had to get back to work.
Delicious from start to finish. Totally unexpected for a restaurant in a strip center. Will go back often.
Outstanding food and great value. Great server but had too many tables and kitchen was very backed up.
Very loud for conversation. Pizza nearly burnt.
Food is typically very good but the pasta was gooey this time. I gave the service a 5 star only because I did not want to indicate the server was poor, but the overall service was VERY slow. Our server was polite and seemed to be hustling but the overall experience took two hours simply because we waited for our food for almost an hour.
I had one of the August specials (lamb) on two occasions; it was excellent the first time, but tasted "off" the second time. One piece of lamb was nothing but gristle, which was disappointing. Garlic knots were heavenly! The desert (a flourless chocolate cake) with ice cream was beautiful, but the cake was extremely dry and disappointing. I will return...and will chalk up the one experience that was less than excellent to an off night.
The grilled artichoke was delicious! Great atmosphere and cool place.
We love the restaurant, the food is good and the restaurant gives good vibes. Service is friendly and good.
The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. the staff was also very knowledgable about their liquor and wine. it was a great experience.
Great place to share a meal with someone. We split an appetizer, salad, entree and bottle of wine the last couple of times we’ve dined there.
Best little locals place around. The menu offers something for everyone no matter how hungry you are. LOVE their Gazpacho, the mussels were delish, and we tried the Bonnie Brae Bronx pizza for the first time which was fantastic.
This spot is a gem, enough said.
We loved Viale Pizza. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.
Fantastic place to eat. The food and service was excellent. My only comment is the pappardelle was fairly inconsistent in width and had frilly edges which made the wider pieces look like lasagna noodles. The pasta wasn't all the way cut at the end of the sheets so there were some fairly wide and partially cut pieces that were maybe 3 inches by 6 inches. The noodles need to be moved around more when they are cooked. Some were stuck together and even stuck to the mutilated large index card looking noodles. This lead to some undercooked bits where the noodles were stuck together. Great food but the execution of the pappardelle needs some improvement.
My wife and I had a great dinner once again! Thanks for a wonderful dinner!
Our first dinner, service was great, food/wine met our expectations, salad was enough to split for the two of us. We will return to try other menu items.
We had good food and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Every one was very friendly and helpful, but you could tell our poor wait service was understaffed.
The food is wonderful! All freshly prepared from scratch. It reminds me of the little trattorias in Glen Cove Long Island. The real deal!
Awesome food and service!
Will be back soon.
Consistently delicious. What more would you want?
Good food, but not enough noodles in the spaghetti bolognese. Also, the sauce was good but could have had more liquid in it to spread among the noodles more. Tasted good but not excellent. A friend was very impressed with the chicken parmigiano. Menu is expensive. Side salad is 8 dollars? That's too much.
The pastas are way over-sauced.
Another great meal! This time I steered away from red sauce and got the lamb pappardelle special. It was tasty and not too spicy. The garlic knots are true to NY style, and we had the apple spice cake for dessert - yum!
Kyle did a great job keeping his eye on us but not disturbing.
I'm a repeat customer and have enjoyed Viale every time.
Local restaurant with great ambiance, excellent food choices, and good variety and reasonable priced wines. Relaxed atmosphere for couples and groups
Viale Pizza and Kitchen is a good local restaurant on S Colorado in Denver. We were staying at the Courtyard Marriott and this restaurant is close by. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is very tasty - we can recommend the Bison Ravioli. Reasonable prices for good food - some nice wines too.
Positive: food was good and service great after we were seated.
Negative: reservations don’t count for much
always good - jammed but great service and grub...why does this have to be 50 characters?
