We had trout here one night and it was fantastic! Last night all 3 meals left a lot to be desired. One was too spicy. One was to thick and heavy on the cream (advertised as light cream sauce). And the third was too soupy. Service was very slow and we waited quite a while for more water. Disappointed.
Nice little Italian go-to. Food's tasty, bread's yummy. Asparagus bisque would benefit from some more asparagus to balance all the tasty cheese. Risotto fra diavolo was too spicy for me but the scallops and shrimp in it were nicely cooked and fresh tasting. Husband loved and could not finish the huge bowl of cioppino. We'll be eating the rest of it today or tomorrow.
Awesome. Everything was great - can’t wait to go back !!!
We had a birthday celebration. This was the first time visiting this restaurant and what a treat. The set-up here is the best. Booths and tables are situated so it feels very private. The food was outstanding and Allie the server was outstanding. We will definitely be returning.
We try to eat at via Toscana three or four times a year. And no matter when we go or how busy they are the food is always first rate the value is perfect and service friendly and they never rush you!!!
To be quite honest this is how family owned restaurants should be, a place where you can get a fine meal at a reasonable price a nice bottle of wine for under 35 bucks and hang out for a few hours and enjoy your friends and family!
Extended family dinner
Love the food here. Focaccia bread is awesome. Loved the stuffed mushrooms and fried Brussel sprouts appetizers which we all shared. Women had lasagna which were very large portions. Men had chicken Parmesan. Service was attentive but not pushy. Had nice wine.
Food is bland and medicore. Eggplant was almost impossible to cut because it was so over baked. I will not go back
The service was outstanding. My meal was good but my friend's meal was very good. We enjoyed the soft ambience and the quiet setting so we could have great conversation.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary here! The restaurant had a menu prepared with the date of our visit with Happy Anniversary at the top. Very cool!
The server was friendly, attentive, and was very courteous. The food portions were large and the taste was great! Great atmosphere, clean and very comfortable.
Really nice experience. Staff is super friendly and food was great.
Everyone enjoyed their meal selections. Our server was outstanding. I highly rate the Caesar salad. Entrees were the perfect size. We skipped dessert but the list of selections was amazing! Everyone’s had a great time. We’ll be back.
Via Toscana was great! Delicious food and awesome service. Really didn't expect the price to be so low either - a very good value.
Exceeded our expectations! Wonderful atmosphere and great food! This was our first time but certainly not our last. We will definitely be back.
The food was good but we have had better in the past.
The food was very good, as usual. Service was a bit lacking but it was one of the bartenders that was our server. It was difficult to get his attention for more water, etc. Also, the lighting could be just a bit brighter as it's somewhat difficult to read the menu.
We were here for family weekend at CU Boulder. Without a reservation, this place was the only one available for the evening but it was a great experience. Wonderful service, good food, and ambience much nicer inside than what you would expect from the outside.
My experience was great. The server seemed new and inexperienced but service was still great. I sadly had to leave early due to an emergency, but will definitely be back.
going on 20+ experiences, consistently excellent food, warm and inviting atmosphere, best Italian north of Denver
I understand places are having a hard time staffing right now, the service wasn’t great but that’s okay. What I was shocked by was how low quality the food was. We ordered the burrata and I didn’t even know burrata could look that bad. It was like a flat piece of mozzarella. We ordered the garlic bread and it was more of what you would expect at a fast food restaurant. When it came time to order entrees, I was going to get the risotto but decided pizza was a safer bet based on the appetizers. The pizza was fine. I can’t believe this place had such good ratings? Did they lose their chef?
We love Via Toscana. They have an amazing cocktail menu, wine selection, and the food is great, too! Fantastic value, we will keep coming back.
The food was excellent; the service impeccable. We had a great time. While the birthday celebration was acknowledged, there was no perks for it.
We asked for and received a special table in a quiet corner of the restaurant for the 65th anniversary of our elderly aunt and uncle. Our aunt cannot have any gluten, and this restaurant has the best gluten free pasta and bread of anywhere we know. They also printed a special menu commemorating the anniversary, which was very sweet.
great service, everyone was very friendly and efficient. Food was good and enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant.
The food here is always consistent. I sure do miss the burrata from the menu!! Hope they bring it back. Also love the red pepper soup and cream of mushroom soup!! Maybe when the weather gets cooler again...
We love via toscana. Great food and service
We had a lovely dinner at Via Toscana. The stuffed mushrooms were a delicious appetizer. One order was the pesto linguine with chicken and vegetables. Our other order was chicken saltimbocca. Both were prepared well and delicious. The portions are generous but do leave room for dessert. We order cannoli, which were authentically made with ricotta in shells that were crispy but not brittle. The waitstaff is very helpful but not intrusive during the meal, which we always appreciate. If you are looking for good Italian food try Via Toscana.
Nice ambience, great food, friendly staff. Perfect!
New to the area, this was our first time at Via Toscana. It was our 38th wedding anniversary. My husband requested a quiet table. Everything was wonderful. The table was in a room with only one other couple. The menu said "Happy Anniversary" at the top. The waiter was attentive. The service was excellent, as was the food. We will be returning in the near future.
The food ( appetizers and entrees ) were excellent! Caesar salad, crab cakes as appetizers, and garlic bread, all very good. Garlic bread was a bit slow in coming out but very good. Best eggplant parmesan ever and the manicotti was excellent.
Service was just ok, server wasn't very friendly an failed to check back on the meal, drinks, etc.
Would definitely request a different server next time.
Always a great place for the best local Italian food around. Staff are great and the service is awesome.
Our server Ellie was terrific, attentive and helpful
best ceasar salad!
I love the robust marinara sauce.
The gluten free options are great !
All four people enjoyed wine and their meals. We had a variety of dishes, lasagna, puttanesca, pasta with vegetables, and a calzone. All were delicious. Wine was great.
Seating was uncomfortable
Amazing vibes, low key, authentic Italian. One of my favorite spots in the Denver Metro area.
Complimentary bread was good. Calamari appetizer was very large but the dish itself was over cooked and chewy. My friend had eggplant Parmesan he said was good. I had the mushroom risotto with scallops ($29). Risotto was good but had no taste of truffles. Sea scallops were very small almost big bay scallops. Would try again and get different items.
We have never had a bad meal at Via Toscana! The service is very good - not rushed but also not slow.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal in a beautiful Italian setting, a surprise from the strip center location. Highly recommend!
Service was a bit slow. Took over 15 minutes to get dessert even though not busy.
