    Afternoon tea service on the veranda is an absolutely lovely experience. It is pricey but worth it for the atmosphere and the service. If you are used to American meal portions I would caution that you will not leave feeling stuffed, but it is plenty of food to make a meal and everything is so delicious.

    This Tea Was truly an experience. Our server explained every part of the meal in detail, and allowed the afternoon to unfold at a leisurely pace. My wife and I enjoyed it a great deal, and we created a wonderful memory. Aloha!

    I had the afternoon tea and was delighted that they had a gluten free option. The gluten free sweets were great. The tea mimosa flight was refreshing and tasty. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was near perfect, listening to live music and watching the waves roll in.

    Spectacular! Food was on point. My 11 yo grandchildren loved it and of course such a historic landmark! This is becoming a tradition for us for my birthday! We will return next year to keep the tradition alive!

    Finger sandwiches, tea, dessert were excellent. Did not expect food to be as filling, as a regular meal. Had a few leftovers to take home. W Enjoyed valet parking, however, there is a 15-20 minute wait for car. Glad we were seated with ocean view. A little pricey, but expected, considering location et al.

    A phenomenal Alice in Wonderland themed Afternoon Tea Party Experience to celebrate Halloween! Everything from the ambience, service, and the delightful savory and sweet treats were outstanding! A one of a kind experience to look forward to for an afternoon tea in Hawaii! The royal tea package which included the tea infused mimosas are an excellent way to treat yourself! Excellent job to the Veranda team!

    We visited the restaurant for Afternoon Tea. I ordered The First Lady and my husband ordered The Duke. All of the finger sandwiches as well as sweet baked goods were amazing. My husband's set came with a burger which we intended on sharing so the staff had the burger cut in half. Amazing burger! We were seated right along side the beach and it was an amazing view. When the sun started to get too hot, the staff lowered the screen so we can get a bit of a shade. I am so glad I made reservations months before our visit. This was our lunch after our wedding night and it could not have been more perfect.

    This time, I made a reservation for afternoon tea at Moana Surfrider's Veranda for the first time. When I took my seat, I saw a beautiful beach right in front of me, and a dynamic banyan tree in the courtyard.I was satisfied with the perfect location. While looking at the sparkling sand and waves, listening to the soothing sound of the waves, the tea, sweets, and sandwiches we had were all exquisite and delicious. A Japanese menu was prepared, and the menu was explained in detail, so we were able to spend a relaxing and elegant time. It was a wonderful relaxing time that can only be found in Hawaii.

    My friend and her two young daughters enjoyed the afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday. One of the nice things about the tea service at the Veranda is that there are a lot of choices—keiki tea, hamburger instead of finger sandwiches, vegan, etc. The service was friendly and attentive and the lanai is beautiful.

    Our afternoon tea experience on 14th Oct was amazing - a wonderful location, view of the beach and ocean, the historical tree in the grounds also provided a great backdrop for photos. The food was exceptional, tasty, tastefully presented and just the right amount. The price was very reasonable. The young male staff member who described the teas and served us was exceptional - friendly, informative, skilled, helpful. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Waikiki.

    Tea in a historic serene setting, lulled by soft trade winds and glorious ocean setting. For my niece’s 40th birthday, I took her to the Moana Surfrider’s Veranda to enjoy their high tea. It has always impressed and delighted with an array of delicacies and beautiful presentation. Our waiter Kawai was especially attentive and we appreciated the service and the view of the gloriously old banyan tree. Wonderful time and well worth it!

    It’s a very beautiful place to celebrate special evens. Definitely recommend making a reservation. Afternoon tea was very elegant and all the pastries were so good. I gave the food rate a 4/5 because there was one sandwich I didn’t really care for. But over all, very nice!
