We had had a wonderful meal at this neighborhood Cuban restaurant. Our server Emily was gracious and helpful. The portions were quite large. If you order the chickpea soup keep in mind that it is a large hearty bowl.

Greeted promptly when arriving. Sat outside under cover. A bit busy since in 41 but nice to be outside. Met one of the owners who was also waiting tables. Nice guy. Food very good. A little more expensive than another Cuban restaurant we go to but much closer to us so gas offset made prices comparable. Food very good and my serving was very generous. Drinks a bit pricey at $12 for a glass of Sangria but then again I think all restaurants over charge to use as a profit center. We will be back to try other menu items. Congratulations to the owners for a very nice job start to finish.

Our dinner at Van Van Cuban was excellent. I had the shrimp enchilada with a side salad and black beans. The shrimp were done perfectly and served in a ramekin with sauce. My husband had the Cuban pork which he was very pleased with. Pure pork meat, no fat and very tasty, we also had tres leche cake for dessert, so glad we shared.it was delicious, but we had had so much to eat! We also shared poblano peppers for an appetizer, and were happy they were not real spicy, but flavorful.

We tried Van Van for the first time and I must say I wish I had discovered them sooner. Service was very friendly and attentive. The inside is very attractive but we dined outside,they have a surprisingly nice area outside. The food was excellent, especially the Rosa Vieja and the Lechon Asado, drinks very good and reasonably priced. We will be back!

The signature pulled pork dish was outstanding and the shrimp were also very good. The sides were also great. We had the side salad, which was attractive and good, and the mixed beans and rice, which was very tasty. The service was excellent. We sat outside on a lovely evening, and the ambiance there, while not exceptional, was very nice. All in all a great Naples experience.

We went with another couple last night. It was the first time there for all of us. The menu has a good variety of appetizers, seafood, chicken, pork and beef. The meals were simple but very fresh and flavourful. Everyone enjoyed what they selected. The service was very good. I’d go to this place again and would recommend it to others.

I wish there were 6 stars to award this place. It is such a hidden treasure of gastronomic delight. Don’t let the strip mall location fool you. This is home style authentic Cuban (literally, mom and dad cook it and the children serve it) at its very best. Go!

My friend enjoyed the wonderful Lechon Asado pork with mojo sauce and black beans. I would have that next time ~ she shared a small bite of her pork, and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! I wanted the empanadas and was sad to find they weren't on the menu that night so I asked for something else, which also wasn't on the menu that night. Frustrating to say the least but I enjoyed my delicious Shrimp al Ajillo.

We enjoyed our meal. The food was delicous. Please be aware however that the reservation system includes outdoor tables without noting such We had a large party and a reservation for 7:45pm. We arrived and were informed the only seating available would be outside - it was a very cold night and there were no heat lamps outside. We waited almost a hour after our reservation time for a table indoors. Reservation systems should be updated (like 99% of other Open Table reservations) to reflect if your reservation is for indoor or outdoor dining.

Kitchen continues to deliver excellent dinners. Prices are moderate. Service is good. Very good place for dinner. It was a cold, cold night (unusual for SW Florida) so dining room was very busy and noise level a bit higher than usual. Still, a very enjoyable evening.

I if looking for good Cuban fare on the gulf Side of Florida, Van Van is great choice, especially if you’re inclined to outside dining. Inside space is small, including the tables. We thought the music was a bit frenetic And too loud for table conversation. They did turn it down a bit at our request. We loved the food.

THE ambiance was nice; small but cute. Our initial greeting was friendly. They had a large family dining so we didn't get much service after that. The entrees were very small (minuscule). I ordered a pork dinner and 3 pieces were tender and the other 3 were overcooked. The Plantains were over-crisped and unedible. The help cleaned the dirty dishes in the dining room and it was unbearably loud! We were not impressed with the meals and they were pricey for the little that we received and overcooked. We will not return. We have many excellent Cuban restaurants near us. No reason to return. Too bad; it was my date's first introduction to Cuban food.
