Uchi, "house" in Japanese, is founded by James Beard Award‑winning Chef Tyson Cole. Uchi offers non‑traditional Japanese cuisine with signature tastings, sushi, and a seasonal omakase. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

    This was my third Uchi restaurant, and 5th experience. Absolutely incredible meal. Service, atmosphere, and food were five star throughout! One of my favorite restaurants in the US, without a doubt! Already excited about my next visit!

    By far the best Uchi Restaurant we tried and we’ve been to Miami and the original in Austin, really well done and recommend sitting at the sushi counter!!

    Kindness and care in every. single. bite. That is what it is like to eat here, and it just isn’t to be missed. Come when you have a hunger not just for great food, but for a feeling of connection to people—for the feeling that people have been wanting to reach you, and that they care that you’re there to enjoy what they’ve been working so hard to offer. Your joy, your satisfaction, your delight—it really matters to them, and if you come open to having those experiences, they will fill you to overflowing. Happy hour, full dinner…whatever you can make time for, get there. The chefs, the servers (Matt and Uché are stellar examples), everyone—they’re all in, and extraordinary at what they do. Seize every chance you can to experience and appreciate it.

    Simply amazing! We had the tasting menu, and it was exquisite. We were seated right on time and in our preferred seating area- sushi bar. Food presentation was gorgeous and the flavors phenomenal. We finally found our favorite restaurant in LA!
