The award-winning Uchi, which translated from Japanese means “home,” was first opened in Austin, Texas by James Beard Award winner Chef Tyson Cole. Since then, Cole’s signature non-traditional take on Japanese cuisine has been warmly received by visitors from across the country and around the globe. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

Great meal once again. Thank you to the host for accommodating our early arrival, they all were very kind. Jameson our server was wonderful menu knowledge was on point. Thank you for guiding us through dietary restrictions, thank you to the kitchen my husband is allergic to all fish and seafood everything was so flavorful even though we had to change some sauces to accommodate the allergies.

I’ve been to Uchi many times for special occasions and with clients. Last night Our server was uninterested and acted bothered. She ruined the experience for my daughter’s birthday. Uchi was once the place to go for great food and exceptional service. There are many amazing alternatives in Denver. Update: the general manager reached out and was curious, understanding and apologetic. Greatly appreciative of him taking the time to listen to feedback.

Very small portions. The Shishito peppers were terrible and not fresh, soggy. The sushi was tiny. The crispy chicken was very good.

Loved our experience at Uchi, we had been to their location in Houston and were interested to see how they would compare and it did not disappoint. We did their omakase which I would highly recommend if your are open to trying something new and different!

Everything was so fresh and elegant. Incredible dining experience the time we entered from the time we left. All of the food, including the amazing dessert, was well worth the price.

Uchi has always been our go-to restaurant for special family occasions, and for good reason—the exceptional freshness of the ingredients and the chefs' creativity keep us coming back time and time again. We’ve celebrated many milestones here, and the outstanding food and ambiance have never disappointed. However, our most recent visit, in honor of my dad’s 67th birthday, was bittersweet. My father had flown in from overseas after seven years apart, making this celebration incredibly meaningful for our family. While the food, as always, was impeccable, our experience with our server, Tiffany, fell short of Uchi’s usual standard of hospitality. Tiffany was undoubtedly professional and knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us through our selections with expertise. That said, her overall attitude left much to be desired. At one point, when we politely asked her to take a few family photos, she rolled her eyes and sighed—a reaction that was impossible to miss. We chose not to say anything in the moment because we didn’t want to dampen my family’s first experience at Uchi, especially on such an important night. But as a loyal customer who has always held Uchi in high regard, I was genuinely hurt by this dismissive behavior. Perhaps Tiffany was having an off night or was stretched too thin, but in a restaurant of Uchi’s caliber, where every detail is usually perfected, service should match the excellence of the food. I still believe in Uchi’s magic, and I hope future visits will restore our full confidence in both the culinary and service experience. This occasion, however, was a rare miss in what has otherwise been a consistently outstanding dining journey. Irina K.
