We visited the resort restaurant twice during our stay, once for lunch and once for breakfast. Unfortunately, both experiences were very disappointing. The first time we arrived, intending to have breakfast, but were told by the lady that we could still order breakfast even though it was just past the breakfast time (around 11 o'clock). She handed us both the lunch and breakfast menus. However, before we could decide, our server came over and informed us that we could no longer order breakfast, taking back the breakfast menus. The service afterwards was also poor, as our server only came by once when we finished eating and didn't even inquire if we needed more coffee. On the second day, we had no other choice but to go back to the same restaurant for breakfast. Unfortunately, we were assigned the same server as the previous day, and once again, the service was subpar. To make matters worse, we found a live fly in our coffee creamer. The server did not apologize, but simply took it away and asked if we were done eating so he could provide us with the bill. Overall, we cannot recommend this place and have no intention of returning to this restaurant. We were extremely disappointed.

I regret to say that our recent dining experience left much to be desired. Our visit was prompted by the enticing ‘Taste of Summer’ menu advertised in the hotel weekend newsletter, only to discover upon arrival that it was no longer available. Adding to our disappointment was the staffing situation, which resulted in a runner doubling as our waiter due to apparent shortages. Despite this challenge, we proceeded with our order, selecting the featured prime rib with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, alongside the chopped salad, coleslaw, and one specialty drink. Regrettably, the prime rib, while generously portioned, was marred by an excess of fatty portions, diminishing its overall appeal. In contrast, the chopped salad was a highlight, boasting a delightful dressing, though we did find it necessary to request additional cheese to balance the flavor profile. Unfortunately, the coleslaw was heavily mayo-laden, and its overpowering richness overshadowed subsequent dishes. The specialty drink, regrettably, fell short of expectations. It exhibited inconsistency in flavor as it sat, detracting from the enjoyment of our meal. Our dining environment also left room for improvement. Sticky tables and a disconcerting sight of staff setting up the breakfast area without proper table cleaning did not contribute positively to the overall ambiance. On a more positive note, the employees we encountered were polite, though they appeared somewhat disengaged, clustering in conversations amongst themselves. In conclusion, while the restaurant showed promise with its enticing menu offerings, the execution and overall dining experience fell very short of expectations. We hope that these issues are addressed to ensure a more satisfying experience for future patrons.

We drove from Rancho Mirage to LaQuinta with the anticipation of a great dining experience at a Waldorf Astoria property. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Even though the staff was great, we were taken aback by its casual atmosphere and with a 11am reservation...that was not needed based on seating availability on arrival, there was no breakfast buffet, no breakfast offered and just not what we were looking for. We stayed so not to insult staff, however, we will not return

This establishment strongly needs to update business hours on here! I made dinner reservations for 10pm for my birthday. I was running a little late and wanted to give them a courtesy call and to inquire if they had an grace period. A man answered and told me they were closed. Shocked, I replied that I have a reservation and he suggested I place my order to go. I told him that was not an option as it’s my birthday and I’m dressed up, driving there thinking I am going to have a nice dinner. The man was quite so I just told him I need to get off the phone and quickly figure out where to go since it was late. I couldn’t even make another reservation somewhere else nor cancel the existing one because someone confirmed my reservation as if I was dining there! This really ruined my night and unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to dine anywhere to celebrate my birthday.

This resort is just down the street from my parents house in La Quinta. We’ve enjoyed drinks here before but never food so wanted to pop over while we were in town. We had lunch, indoors with AC due too 110+ heat. We were seated quickly and well taken care of with a high chair for our 10 month old. We ordered drinks and beverages quickly. All and all the service was great. Cocktails were unique and freshening, better than our food honestly but perhaps a little overpriced ($16-20/drink). Food wasn’t terrible just nothing that stood out. We’ll be back for the great service and when it’s not too hot to sit on the patio. Lastly, really appreciate the kid friendliness!

I was not very impressed with the quality of the food for the cost. I don't mind paying for good food if it equals the quality of what you expect. The Chicken Milanese was good, but the French Dip was not as expected. It was disappointing. Maybe we hit at the wrong time of day, but just was not very happy with the experience. The service was good but probably won't be going back.

Twenty6 is a beautiful setting with casual and quaint outdoor tables and flowers everywhere. The staff was busy the night we were there but they were very friendly. We needed to ask for a couple of items (refills of water and additional salad dressing) but overall, the staff kept up with the pace. The salads were good, especially the curry brussel sprout salad and our chocolate tart and carrot cake desserts were delicious. The chicken was a bit dry, but the sea bass was excellent. As part of La Quinta resort, this is a beautiful spot to enjoy the sunny weather and ambience.

Food was mediocre. Had to send back tuna poke as it was mushy and grey colored. Sea bass was over cooked. The place is full of small kids and families and this is not where to go for a quality upscale meal. Having never visited here before, I wish I had done more research before booking. The staff was friendly and did a fine job.

Poor service No ambience Kids running around everywhere and lots of dogs Waiter was so overworked he could not keep up I don’t mind paying top dollar if the food, service and environment are good. This place is not worth the money you pay. It’s a dump. A hotel like this should have a stellar restaurant. Never going back.
