Turner’s is an exclusive dining and social establishment with old-world charm and first-class service offering a blend of timeless American and continental dishes by award-winning Executive Chef Robert Del Grande. The latest concept from Houston-based Berg Hospitality Group and restaurateur Benjamin Berg, the handsome, refined space includes a baby grand piano where local artists give an intimate nightly performance. Hours of operation are Tuesday – Saturday with the bar opening at 4pm and dinner service beginning at 5pm.
I called to request a table far away from piano 2 hours prior to my 7:30 and I was placed next to piano. We had a great experience except for that.
Great intimate place, great food and service, little loud with the piano and full crowd but still a great atmosphere
Décor and service top-flight. The food we had was only passable. Food and drink expensive. Mixed drinks $18 plus tax and tip (20% was the lowest tip available w/out going through the customization steps) bottom line $23+ per mixed drink.
I suggest avoiding the weekends. We had the early, 6:30, seating on a Saturday. When we left, around 9:00, the place was packed (forget about the 50% max seating) with the noisy "see and be seen" crowd.
Much anticipated and it didnt fail.
The atmosphere reminds me of an old school nyc steakhouse starting from the navy blue entrance door to the dining area
The bar area is small but cozy. The bartender, Jose, makes awesome drinks. Tried the old fashion and their house special which was a twist on a screwdriver
The food and presentation was emaculate. Our server Ben was also a wine sommelier gave us great recommendations on the old/new wine.
We tried the lobster thermidor and the ribeye. The lobster was exellent. Im giving the ribeye a small curve because it wasnt great but good, but since they just opened its something ill come back and try and taste once again
Great cozy place that offers an opportunity to dress up and have a fun time out
Our food was cold.
Amazing restaurant - went opening night, will be one of the best in Houston for years to come.
