Best date spot in Houston! Everything was perfect. Will be back.
It was a lot of fun I’ve been there about seven or eight times now. We came with some friends that I’ve never been They really liked it as well.
Excellent food and service!! We will be back!!
A wonderful gem of a place! Worth every penny, they make you feel like royalty. Ambiance, piano music, food and service is stellar.
Great dinner to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Everything was exceptional.
Everything was great, except for our mains. Veal chop was awful and filet was not good. Everything else was wonderful, but hard to pay high price for main meat course that literally was downright bad. Almost tasted like you all froze the meat and thawed it out due to the storm. Very disappointed since the service and venue was top shelf.
Our experience at Turner’s was second to none. Vic, our server, made sure that we were not only well taken care of, but that we had fun! He was so kind, so thorough, funny and perfectly attentive. The food was outstanding - probably one of the best meals either of us has ever had. We decided to splurge for our anniversary and went with the Wagyu filet and Lobster Thermador. The filet was buttery perfection with a potato cake accompaniment that was indescribably delicious. The lobster thermador was as rich and delicious as anyone could hope. Fabulous cocktails and live piano made for a truly perfect evening in a beautiful, intimate but not at all stuffy environment. We will return to Turner’s again and again. Our new special occasion destination!
Turners is a very elegant and very sophisticated style restaurant. Food and service is exceptional . Excellent place or romantic dinner for 2 or specially occasion dinner with few good friends. Highly recommend
Lovely room, bit too loud, food was covered up with extra unnecessary food stuffs. Extremely over priced. Will not go again
Our first time at Turner’s did NOT disappoint! The ambiance was great and the food amazing.
We were here for the 3rd time. Double date. This time it was disappointing. My lobster pasta with truffles was just sort of ok, and at $100- I expected amazing. It really didn’t need to lobster. Or the truffles. One of the two would’ve been better. Service was pretty awful. We couldn’t understand our waiter. My friend had to send his steak back- it was just a bad cut if meat. I love the ambience and the music, but sad that the rest was just subpar.
OMG, first time here (not our last). Yes, it is expensive compared to the average dinner out. But, well worth the $$ considering the ambiance, exceptional service & delicious eats. Piano Bar was a great surprise. Wine selections were wonderful (though expensive) for me anyway. We made it work & left 100% satisfied & happy.
Such an incredible dinner and ambiance! Perfect evening!
Food and service was outstanding as usual
Small & intimate- very much reminded me of a London hotel lounge. Our server Craig was courteous, competent, and considerate. The carpaccio was delicious! My only suggestion would be to bring the wine pricing a little more in line with some of the city’s other popular restaurants. I liked that there were choices not commonly found, but it was clear that pricing was 3X and more (except some of the DRC).
Its a very small place. Thats good for intimacy, Bad for last minute or larger party reservations. Wonderfully decorated. The staff is exceptionally attentive and skilled at what they do. The food and cocktails were divine.
Excellent food! Great atmosphere and wonderful staff!
Service was amazing, ambiance was amazing. The food was just ok. Soups were luke warm , chicken and dumplings were awful. Steaks were just ok
Food and service is always outstanding. Five star rating!!!
Our first time here and very excited when we walked in. Swore we were back in NY. But thats were it stopped. Good service but very rushed. Very odd and expensive (NY prices) for food that was less than average. NO, I repeat, NO social distancing. Tables inches apart. Credit card checkout is the european style that thy bring to the table and everyone in the restaurant holds before the night is over. Very, very noisy. We were seated by the paino and literally had no chance after he started playing of talking to my wife. Turner has great ideas and concepts, but the absolute worse execution to ever get me back.
Always love dining at Turners. Service and ambiance exceptional.
We were rushed. They kept asking if we wanted a box. We had only been there a short time. It was not busy so I’m not sure why they kept rushing us. Nice place but don’t need that.
Excellent family dinner. Very elegant and a great menu. Loved it.
The decor and ambiance are timeless and feel like an authentic homage to a slower pace of life and dining from years past.
The food is decadent yet elegant. Price point is high but you get quality food and appropriately sized portions.
The piano is lovely and the singer was top notch.
Service was attentive and knowledgeable without being intrusive.
It was a bit of a tight squeeze for COVID times but they seem to be doing their best given the constraints of a smaller establishment.
Looking forward to having another reason to celebrate there soon!
We went to celebrate a birthday and it turned out to be a great choice for that. The staff were attentive, the food delicious, and the ambiance just right for the occasion. The live piano music, the décor, and the overall quality made the experience a memorable one. Looking forward to our next visit!
Fabulous dining experience. Love the NYC private dining club like atmosphere. Service was impeccable. The staff was well trained in the art of fine dining. Food was perfectly prepared and presented to the table. Wine IS pricey but the staff recommended a great Cabernet that was a good value for the money. Simply the best restaurant in Houston.
Wonderful food abs ambiance. Piano player is wonderful and good is classic but inventive. Def a special occasion meal for the price tag, but worth every penny for the wonderful food, service abs experience.
Ambiance, music, service, music were over the top-can’t wait for next visit!
Lovely dinner with some high points and some not do high points on the food. The fried quail starter was amazing, but our 3 entrées were unimpressive. The atmosphere and service were both stellar. Turner's is worth trying and the atmosphere alone worthy of a nice evening out. However, there are so many other restaurants in the city with superior food.
Excellent venue. Covid protocols are not a priority at this venue, however.
Absolutely wonderful experience! Highly recommend!
Turner's turned out to be a wonderful find. It was hard to actually find the restaurant - it is is hidden behind Annie Bar and Cafe. Getting into the restaurant was like we were part of an exclusive club - we went to this unmarked door and the manager came out to greet us and usher us in. The restaurant is very cozy with a lively bar and most excellent live music. However, the food was the star of the show. Everything we tried was simply scrumptious, from the land and sea on the half shell, lobster bisque, and Waldorf salad starters to the Wagyu filet mignon, rib-eye, and royal trumpet tetrazzini entrees. The service was also excellent and even though the restaurant is small, we felt no pressure to eat up and get out. A truly wonderful experience overall and I would strongly recommend giving Turner's a try. We will definitely be coming back.
2 couples enjoying a night on the town. Brandon the server was impeccable and the ambiance was nostalgic. Drinks were great and all the food was spectacular.
Another great experience. The ambiance is the main draw, but the food doesn’t disappoint. The artichoke soup with butter poached oysters was silky and decadent. Pasta with trumpet mushrooms may not sound exciting, but what I couldn’t finish, the rest of my table eagerly took care of. The coconut cake is perhaps a bit dense, and the champagne bottle menu is surprisingly limited—and very expensive. But the live piano absolves any of Turners’ minor sins.
New favorite spot in Houston. Absolute perfection.
Fabulous atmosphere with an amazing piano player. The food and cocktails were perfect. Looking forward to going back.
Fantastic atmosphere and service! I order the filet mignon - which was excellent - but it paled in comparison to my husband's meatloaf. Wow was it amazing. The piano music was lovely, as was the singer, once she started performing. We had a wonderful evening and will return!
Perfect place for a special occasion.
Pricey but eorth every penny! Absolutely delicious, from the appetizers to the dessert. We had an amazing meal.
Turners was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious and the pianist made for a lovely evening out! Ambiance was lovely and wait staff was on point! Loved everything about this place! Will definitely go back soon!
