Our dinner was delicious with Brussels sprouts (so crunchy) and chicken and waffles as well as very unique cocktail creations. My husband really enjoyed the recipe with Mac and cheese in the waffle and I liked the sriracha honey topping.

This is the first bad experience I've had with this restaurant. It was my wife's birthday so I smiled through the evening but I was definitely not impressed to have spent about $300. I was very upset. We were a party of 10 that was reduced to a party of 8 last minute. The reservation was made days in advance so I felt as if the manager should have had a server allotted for us or could have warned us that that time wasn't good for such a large party. All Guest contact information is made available to the restaurant at the time of the reservation. We were sat immediately upon arrival then sat for 15-20 mins before another server came over and gave us water. She stated "I am not your server but I will get you all some water." We then sat another 15 mins before the bartender came over and took our order. I have served and managed a couple of restaurants so I recognized her demeanor as being frustrated with having to take the large party who has sat for 40 mins waiting for a server. She came for our drink orders I stated we can order it all now. I specifically ordered the biscuits as a starter and all of our food at once. After waiting for the biscuits about 15 mins we were told "hey the first batch fell apart we will make more but it will be about 20 mins before they come out." I didn't let it faze me again because its my wife's birthday and I was trying to keep my cool after dragging her here instead of her favorite restaurant. After waiting another 20-30 mins our food started coming out. Yes we were seated at least an 1hr and 20 mins before getting anything solid into our digestive systems. Immediately following the food the bread came out. 4 out of 8 of the dishes were ice cold. My smothered chicken gravy seeming came out of the fridge and was splattered on the chicken. My roasted potatoes were charred. My wife's mac and cheese was cold not even able to stir. There's so much more will attach to my next review. Our server is the reason we were able to stay and eat.

Food was great. The smothered fried chicken was incredible, and all the sides we enjoyed between the three of us. The bar service in advance of the dinner was exceptional too. All servers were just outstanding. From the two bartenders to table server, everyone was super helpful, thorough, on point, and fast. A pleasurable group indeed. We love Tupelo Honey and will for sure be back.

This may have been one of the single best meals and experiences we have had. 5 adults two teenagers in our party, everyone ordered something different but everyone had a hard time choosing as everything looked amazing. Rave reviews for the shrimp and grits, the farmers market salad, skillet pork, and the Asheville chicken with Mac n cheese waffle rendered someone speechless it was so good. Our server was exceptional and the value was amazing. This will likely be an every trip dinner when we visit our daughter at NCSU. Need more stars to give!

Food was delicious, our waitress was awesome, ambiance nice. Only issue was the wait for drinks and food. Our waitress kept checking in on us and updating us on the waiting time. The restaurant is clearly understaffed specially in the bar and in the kitchen. The existing staff is doing the best they can with what they have. Maybe because it was a Saturday night? But that's when you need to make sure there are no such issues. Regardless, we do plan to return.

Everything was wonderful about our meal. Friendly, fast, and attentive team from the moment we walked in the door. Fried green tomatoes and grits were amazing. Fried chicken was the best ever. Tupelo Honey delivered an impeccable experience in a casual environment.

Ordered the lemon party salad and they were out of the lemon dressing which is the main reason we ordered it. They had no dressings available that were non dairy. Not even oil and vinegar. We ordered grilled shrimp and broccolini. Took over an hour to get our food. When it finally came out our vegetables were cold and over cooked and looked like there my were a week old. I ordered a side of grilled shrimp that would have come on the salad and she brought me a plate with 4 tiny shrimp on it. They were also cold and overcooked. Servers seemed indifferent and unapologetic. Will not be back.

We came on a Sunday morning for brunch, we made a reservation and they were accommodating for us and our infant. Our waiter was great! And the service was quick, however for the price the food could’ve been much better. My grits came out cool, my poached eggs were pretty much hard boiled and the coffee tasted like water.

Mostly enjoyed our lunch but the service was so slow it made the experience more painful than it should have been. Over 90 minutes for lunch. We waited 30 minutes after ordering and then another 10-15 trying to get someone to process our payments.

My first order had cold eggs, barely eat waffle, and same temp chicken. I sent it back and got a completely different dish. It was delicious! Service was good but server was a little over the top. Only two stalls for the ladies in a very busy place. Not the best first impression but would give them another try if back in the area. Hubby’s food was just fine.

Absolutely delicious! High quality food and the service was great. The Mac n cheese chicken and waffles is superb…highly recommend it. The menu has a good variety, definitely something for everyone. Great cocktail options too. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

If you’ve never eaten here… your wrong. If your thinking about it, just do it. It’s incredible. The food is spectacular I recommend the siracha chicken and waffles. Everything from start to finish was incredible.
