Fried Green Tomatoes
This was my second time dining at this location. When I arrived, I noticed a staff person (female) preparing the serving utensils in the napkins. She was seated in the front booth, without gloves on, and grabbing the (upright) forks and knives with her bare fingers. Groosss! My party would be seated in the booth next to her. As I watched her continue to touch each utensil with her hands, i stopped her to address the method she’s using. I told her I was not going to inform a manager but being we are in the middle of a pandemic it’s unsanitary to prepare them that way. I would’ve been disgusted regardless. She tells a manager who comes over to ask what happened. I informed him, and was thanked that it would be corrected. Next thing I see is another female person come over and do the exact same thing before she too is stopped. (IT’s A TRAINING ISSUE) They would leave the large pile the first woman did until I left. I wonder did they take them all apart and wash them? Also, did they change their process on preparation?
Busy beautiful day. A Sunday brunch. Food was phenomenal. The foods arrival was a bit slow probably due to Covid slowdown in kitchen, but that was fine by us as we had plenty to catch up on. Every drink and every meal was on point, and worth the price and wait.
We had such a great time. Our server, Patrick, just really set the bar so high. He was attentive, funny, and just really made our girls brunch that much better. The food was amazing! We had a vegetarian in the mix and Patrick made sure her food was exactly what she ordered, and did a double check on the soy breakfast option. The manager on duty was attentive and did a couple of rounds to check on tables. Staff was friendly and always greeted you along the way.
The food was delicious and the server was very attentive and full of personality. It was packed because we went on a Sunday for brunch. My only complaint is lack of parking. The food was so good we ordered a second stack of pancakes.
The waitress was pleasant and professional but forgot my pancakes then forgot my syrup
Food, waiter, service was great! Will go back! Celebrating my daughter’s birthday with her god parents! Thanks 😊
Food was amazing! Great place to eat! Ambience was great! Service was superb!
Everything was delicious! You can’t go wrong with fried chicken😊
Long wait for food, nice servers though
The food was great! The only downside was it took 1 hour to get our food.
I ordered the avocado toast (which is already expensive) and the avocado was basically a thin layer of butter spread across the bread. It basically was avocado purée that was spread on the toast. The worst avocado toast I’ve ever had, and one of the most expensive.
The food was delicious!
Overall the restaurant is worth going to. Early on my friend and I were trying to decide on a wine to have, the server asked if we wished for a tasting. We tried and decided on which to order. We enjoyed the truffle bread with house and ricotta (this is a must), a nightly special, and the short rib cavatelli. At the end of the night we saw a charge for the tasting and were shocked. Not once did the server state that there was a charge. It was awkward. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if she would’ve stated the fee when she offered us the tasting.
Guy, my waiter, was phenomenal! I also observed a hostess carefully and compassionately assist a blind man. The good food is also a plus, but the excellent, selfless service of Tupelo Honey is stellar.
Food & service were both excellent! Perfect place for brunch.
Very good!! Love it! Nice employees!........................
Our server Nate was fantastic!
We had guest from out of state come in to celebrate an 87th birthday and everyone praised their food selections, which was really good. But our waitress was even better,.
You would have thought we were VIPs - We're definitely going back and soon.
Literally everything is delicious and anyone you bring to eat here will be impressed with your decision.
Great food and friendly service. We had a really fun time.
Tupelo Hone is a brunch favorite for me. The food is always good and the staff is always friendly and attentive!
Excellent Experience! Staff are so great and attentive! 10/10 would recommend and will be back for sure!
Co worker’s get together and had a great experience
Great server and everyone enjoyed the food. Very lively atmosphere and fast delivery of food.
Wide range of menu selections , some with interesting twists !
The food and the drinks were very tasty. I wish I could have had more honey dusted chicken.
Just went for some drinks and apps on a Tuesday evening. The staff were EXCELLENT and I want to give them a shout out. I'll be honest, though, given the reviews I had much higher expectations for the food and drinks. They were fine but nothing to write home about. Could use some better lighting or something to set the patio apart.
My family and I had a reservation and we were seated right away. The staff was extremely kind and professional. Everything we ordered was fantastic!
Great service! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent variety of southern food options. Amazing biscuits and fried green tomatoes.
Everything was perfect. Will definitely be back!!!
Great service and great food! My son and I went to Tupelo Honey in Raleigh after Easter Services, and it did not disappoint. I have been to this location for work lunches but never casually. Our server was friendly, the food came out quickly and was just what we wanted. We had the very large and delicious buttermilk biscuits to start. My son had the pancakes and bacon and I had the avocado toast and eggs. We finished with the mini desserts...we would recommend all the dishes!
Variety of menu items and cocktails. Prices are reasonable
I sat at the bar with my friend and had the best service. Everything was delicious and everyone was beyond kind and attentive. Shout out to Nate for being the best.
Good dining experience; just a bit of a wait for main entree. Everything was very tasty, but on one caveat -the fried chicken was a bit dry; although very tasty.
Staff is nice and courteous. Our server Noah was very warm and friendly. I will be going back very soon.
Always good, although this was our least favorite trip to Tupelo so far. Service was fine; however, the coffee is usually amazing and today it was a bit lackluster. Basically dinner coffee with better presentation. We were asked if we wanted to start with bread but not made aware we’d be paying extra for it. $50 + tip is a lot for breakfast but that’s the brand I guess. Still a good spot for a special occasion.
There was no wait as we booked ahead! The food took a long time to come out. Their friend chicken was amazing as usual! The biscuits were cold and hard. They bought us out 2 new ones when we were waiting. They were out of collard greens at 6:30 pm! We were bummed about that. The staff was very nice and friendly. If you are looking for a twist on your fried chicken and do not mind paying a higher price point eat here.
It was yummy
Food is not great. Not a good value. The waitress was so so. They didn’t have the particular liquor that I like.
