    We ate here for my husband’s birthday. We had people ages 17-74. The food was good. The portion on the chicken and waffles seemed smaller than before. My mom found the pork shoulder too spicy. I got the same dish, and it definitely has some kick to it. The fried green tomatoes are some of the best you can get anywhere. The waiter Ian was awesome - best we have had when dining here. Totally recommend eating here.

    We ordered the sweet & spicy fried chicken & waffles, scrambled eggs, a side of patty sausage, sweet potato pancake, blueberry mimosa and an order of biscuits. The sweet and spicy chicken was amazing along with the sweet potato pancake. They were definitely the star of the show. And the customer service was amazing as well. When making reservations I did mention that we were celebrating a birthday. The host said that they were going bring a dessert to celebrate, but I don’t think the waiter got that message. It was very minor issue. I will still returned for more of that chicken.

    The staff was wonderful, especially with our kids :) They had giant coloring sheets available and told jokes when the kids were getting restless while waiting for the food to arrive. The food was outstanding, it exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely go back.

    Our server was “over it” it was obvious she was done with her day when we were served. I was given the incorrect cocktail, the Mac and cheese was bland and cold despite being served in a cute iron skillet. We had to wait 20 minutes to get refills on our drinks. I think it was probably a short staffing issue but it wasn’t a great experience.

    This place is very nice. I went to our Mother’s Day weekend, which I know I shouldn’t not have and I couldn’t get a table. But this weekend I got a chance to get a seat. The food was really good. I had the sweet potato pancake. Although I thought it was going to be stacks like the picture, it was only one, but it was OK. Very good price for the food. I will definitely go again.
