Tupelo Honey is a revival of Southern food and traditions rooted in the Carolina Mountains we call home. We craft brunches, lunches and suppers that bring family and friends around the table and allow for conversations and cocktails to linger longer than usual. Always scratch-made, always responsibly-soured, and always Southern.

Went here for lunch and everything we had was excellent. I highly recommend the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich and the cheese grits. Definitely get an order of biscuits to start. Great Southern food. Patio is large and was not crowded at lunch. Unfortunately the birds can be a little annoying.
Food is always good & good service
Food was great, ambiance is beautiful, and the service was wonderful.
Had a great time. Brooke, our server was great and super knowledgeable.
The drinks were delicious and the right amount of strong.
Can’t wait to go back for the lunch/dinner menu!
Great food. Excellent service. Brunch is the best.
The food was amazing; however, the drinks were weak and our waitress gave us misinformed us. They don’t do shots and you can’t add an extra shot to your drinks. Overall, the food was amazing. The food pricing was great but the drinks were weak
Delicious brunch all day and gorgeous patio! I highly recommend
Great environment. Tasty & salty food. Beer battered fish was undercooked, but everything else was delicious & very salty.
Had a wonderful time, very good staff & food
While we love this restaurant, the prices continue to rise with each visit. Food is always excellent, but costly.
All in all, just a little too disappointing. Service was decent. About what you expect for a fairly busy Friday evening. Had a reservation and they took about 10 minutes to get things ready. It's covid season, so whatever. Menu seemed fairly limited, went with fried chicken. Wife got the honey dusted with a side of potato cracklins and I went with the sweet & spicy with a side of collards. Both chicken orders were nice and crispy, well cooked and overall well done. Sweet & spicy was definitely more on the spicy side. Sides were the let down. The parmesan rosemary potato cracklins were just roasted potatoes coated with parmesan and rosemary. That ain't cracklins. Collards were bland, needed some vinegar, salt, something! For desserts - banana pudding was ok, chocolate peanut butter mousse tasted and had the consistency of whipped peanut butter, but the brown butter pecan pie saved it. Rich, flavorful, and decadent with a good balance of pecans and syrup. I'd opt for Ida Claire or Whistle Britches if given the choice and looking for southern comfort food.
I’m from the South and have eaten at many great tables. This brought back good memories. Collard greens, fried green tomatoes(great on the grits), fried chicken spicy sweet! Very enjoyable dinner! Only missing fruit cobbler foe dessert.
I went there on the recommendation of a friend. I found the atmosphere to be pleasant and our waitress was courteous and friendly, however the food was over prices and bland. It wasn't true southern food. It was the typical/usual chain restaurant food. I will never visit again. It was an experience to say the least.
The sweet potato pancakes are amazing! The ambience is casual, lots of space so social distancing isn’t a problem. Will definitely go back.
We love this restaurant, thanks! We were celebrating a birthday!
Will definitely be back!
Perfect for Brunch!
Great food in a cool atmosphere!
Amazing will go again for sure!!! The food was delicious!
Tupelo Honey is an awesome venue for dining. You've never had Shrimp and Grits until you've had Tupelo's shrimp and grits. Love this place.
Drinks were half full. Too expensive not to fill them up.
A tad disappointed in their house specialty.. the fried chicken. Overall not as moist as I thought it could have been. Service was excellent and the patio was delightful.
Tupelo Honey did a great job with social distancing!
I love Tupelo Honey and I had a rare opportunity of bringing my niece to experience Tupelo Honey. I am a bit disappointed as our table was dirty the floor was dirty the entire time we were there and we are not fast eaters. At one point I saw a waitress brush food on the floor to the side as she was seating other guest I was embarrassed for her and Tupelo as the guest looked at the floor and back up at her. However, no one ever came to sweep the floor.
I am use to friendly faces and I did not see many. I am not use to having to call my waitress over to ask for a refill on my tea. Typically, it is an automatic thing.
I am disappointed in this visit, not enough to not come back so I am writing this hoping this will help. Now, when I come back and it is the same as this experience then Tupelo Honey may lose me as a customer and that will be sad for me as until this visit I have always enjoyed dining there alone and giving others a different dining experience.
Great restaurant with a variety of choices. My family and I come often so we have pretty much sample all their menu. Social distancing and Covid precautions have taken some of the vibe but still love it.
I had been wanting to try this place forever and I’m so glad I finally did. The sweet potato pancakes are delicious as well as their rosemary peach lemonade. It’s in a lively area at The Star and the ambience is relaxed and trendy. Will definitely be going back.
Food was fantastic and good value.
Expected better service from the rude hostess.
Food was on point and service was amazing! What a great night.
The food and service was outstanding, and we were able to conduct business as well as eat well.
I love the foods, the service is ok and parking is a pain.
The experience and service we had was second to none! We went for brunch and they had a nice selection of brunch items on the menu that made our time there very nice. Would go back again!
The food was great, my Bloody Mary was delicious and the service was even better! I’ll be back soon, thanks!
Food was great. Chicken unbelievable.
Loved the food and the vibe. Our waitress was excellent and made several recommendations since we had never been here before. Definitely a must try! The shrimp & grits were delicious!
Food tasted Great but could of been a little warmer ! Besides that one minor thing everything else was excellent ! Seated before our reservation time and the service was excellent !
The food was cold and not very tasteful. My husband was very excited to visit here for his birthday and the food was not up to our liking. We ordered our food and 2 minutes later it came out. I’m not sure if everything was pre made but I wouldn’t eat here again. Our server was very well presented and took nice care of us . However the food and the temperature in the building would be a reason we don’t revisit
Absolutely love this restaurant!!
It is a southern style kitchen with cocktails. The fried cauliflower and fried chicken and biscuits are a must... my new favorite lunch flash brunch spot.
We had a girls’ night out and chose to eat here before our concert. We made a reservation and were promptly seated when we arrived. The biscuits are amazing and all of our meals were delicious. And for dessert, get the sampler. We will definitely come here again.
