I had been wanting to check this place out so we decided to go for Father’s Day dinner. Loved the atmosphere and our server was so sweet and attentive. Very laid back, cozy Environment. Super inviting.

Food was delicious. We had their Cathead biscuits as an appetizer and although thick and delicious, neither of us were impressed with the blackberry or blueberry (can’t remember) jam and butter that came with it. For the main course I had their Famous Fried Chicken - The sweet and spicy was AMAZING! So good! I had the Crispy Brussels as a side - but they were a tad too crispy and charred for my liking. It gave off a bitter taste so it was a little hard to consume. Probably won’t get those again.

I heard brunch was amazing so I think next time I’ll come for brunch.

The food is excellent as always, I have yet to have anything less than a great meal. The service on this visit was over the top! Our waiter was amazing! I can not recommend Tupelo Honey enough.

The waitress was not very good, she was taking long periods of time coming back to the table. The food was just like any other place with fried chicken. Not to mention a nat flew into my plate while eating, will not be going back. This place is over rated.

It was Father’s Day weekend and my husbands birthday. We were excited to try something new. I let them know in advance of the celebratory occasion. Our server seemed to not be in a pleasant mood. When I called and spoke about celebrating my husbands birthday, I was told he would get a little flight of desserts and a glass cup. Neither were given. I finally inquired about the glass and our waiter told us they were sold out of them. Nevertheless, the food was decent. The service just wasn’t memorable.

Food was delicious. Service slow, but it was Father’s Day and quite busy. Wouldn’t have mattered, but we needed to get to the airport and ended up watching the clock.

there were seven of us and everyone had something different. All food was delicious. Especially the bowl with rice, veggies and chicken....YUM. Service was slow and our food came out at different times. There were only a few tables in the whole restaurant, so I could NOT see any reason for the slow service.

Tupelo Honey is one of my favorite eating and relaxing spots. Hopefully in the near future I will be able to visit at least once a week. I love this place. (just one other note...the mini desserts...are amazing... I just wish the to-go portions didn't look so smaller than mini...at $3 each I expected them to be the same as the dine in portions). Nevertheless, I always enjoy going to Tupelo Honey. I can't wait to take my parents when they are in town.

I’ve been to this restaurant in Chattanooga. The fried chicken was fluffy and the portions of chicken you received was large. The biscuits were warm and the blueberry compote was mixed with the butter. At the Frisco restaurant the food was stale and not fresh. The chicken was crusty and small and the biscuits were cold and the butter was separate from the compote and was so hard it was impossible to get out of the dish. I ordered a vegan meal and if you’re only eating veggies you need to load up the plate not give a measly piece of cauliflower and some quinoa. Very disappointing will not go back and we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday.

Food was great. I ordered the chicken and forgot to tell the waitress what size I wanted. In stead of her asking me what portion I wanted, she brought me the largest portion, which was too much to eat. I asked her why she didn’t ask me to clarify, she told me it was their direction from management to not ask and bring the largest portion.. it was obvious as it cost more. Service was slow but waitress had a lot of tables she was taking care of. She needed help.

We like Tupelo a lot. It is a great place for lunch or dinner. The guys like the cocktail selections. This time we tried the hot chicken dip wow it was so good. could have used a fe more chips. Two of us had meatloaf unique and good. A do over for sure. the honey dusted fried chicken is always so good .

Very relaxing place to eat

Disappointed this trip I have been here several times and always good food and service not so much today. My chicken salad had more grisly than chicken. We were also over charged we ordered a bottle of wine and was charged for a bottle plus a glass. Server never checked back had to pour our own wine.

The fried chicken with bee dust and goat cheese grits were excellent. If you like a lot of chocolate, the chocolate pecan pieces great and a generous portion. The negative ambiance ratings are due to a west-facing patio door with no sun protection for most of our dinner. The setting sun was most unpleasant, and most of the west side of the restaurant was impacted. Something needs to be done.

Good selection of unique items, i.e. “Cathead Biscuits” that might need some ‘splainin’ if you’re not familiar with southern cooking. Our guests were all from California. Lunch combo, soup, salad, 1/2 sandwich good bargain at $12. Beer City Chicken Chili was very good. Might be a meal by itself. Our server,Tyler, was great, attentive, informative and humorous. He even brought out a “watermelon radish” as everyone was curious about it. A slice comes on each salad. We had lunch, but it looked like a great happy hour/dinner spot. Will go back and will recommend to others. Our California friends enjoyed it.

Great service. Hostesses were very courteous and accommodating of our very large party. We had reservations for 20 but wound up seating 26 with only a short wait. Atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. Appetizers, drinks and entrees all arrived appropriately. Banana Pudding French Toast was a big hit. Tupelo Honey would be a smash hit in Houston, Texas.
