   My food was good but service was very slow. The waitress even told us it wasn’t busy when we arrived for a 545 reservation so I was confused by the lack of attentiveness. My food was good but my wife’s chicken was dry and more breading than chicken. I think she just got a bad piece. I wouldn’t rate it negatively but they charge premium prices so if you’re going to charge $18 for a sandwich and seven dollars for beer the rest of the experience should be better.

   Good food and ambience, but our server was either stretched too thin or just wasn’t very attentive. Took close to 15 minutes before we were acknowledged, and he never checked on us once our food was delivered to make sure all was good, and never again stopped by until he brought our check. We had to flag him down to get a refill on coffee.

   We had 7 in our group and sat at a booth. The waitress brought us fried tomatoes instead of the fried pickles we ordered. The chicken and waffles was very poor and had I not been so hungry I would have just left.

   Overall, it was a good experience. Thank goodness they had a kids menu. It took a very long time to get our first round of cocktails. Like maybe 20 minutes from the time we sat down. The food was served in a timely manner, and was very attractive my daughter, who is not a picky eater had a hard time finding what she wanted to eat. Her meal was not great. It was very dry, it was a bowl with grain. We took it home to our chickens. The server had been on the job since 9:30 am and we were seated at 7:15. That is a 10 hour shift. She looked exhausted. Not cool. Management needs to pay attention. BTW. I was a server for 26 years. Not a medical provider. Thanks.

    For a chain restaurant they are pretty good - fried chicken was awesome! Drinks were good as well. Great spot for a reasonably priced dinner.

    Very glad we tried this amazing place !!! The service was fantastic and the food was delicious and the ambience in that downtown Boise area is fantastic. We had a great night celebrating Mother’s Day.!!

    We had a reservation for Sunday Brunch. We arrived and we’re sat promptly. It took a bit of time for our server to get to us. Once he did there was very little interaction, almost like we had to direct him. It was crowded and we all have sub par days, so hopefully that what it was. The drinks and food were very good.     We had a pleasant evening out. My wife enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer before our main course. I had the chicken smothered in white gravy (YUM!) and she enjoyed one of the many fancy salads

    We arrived with reservations table wasn’t what was requested. Our server wasn’t very attentive took forever just to get our drinks & then food was the same way too long wait time. Sausage tasted nasty weren’t even asked how our food was ! I will give Tupelo another try because I’ve been there before & had great service & food!

    Service was very slow and the place was not busy or crowded at all. Server was nice but didn't check on us and took forever for drinks. Saw our drinks sitting on the bar for at least 10 mins. Should have ordered straight from the bar as it was empty and we were sitting right next to it.

    The food isn’t bad it’s just bland and meh. The fried chicken isn’t greasy but really lacks basic seasoning. The restaurant feels clean and the staff is friendly enough. I’m just not sure if the price point supports what is served on the plate. For what we paid we could have went to Anthony’s. Like I said-not bad just not memorable.

    Appetizers and cocktails were delicious. Our main dishes were okay. We had the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken with mac&cheese waffles. I think we expected the mac&cheese waffles to almost be like the mac&cheese balls but essentially it was mac&cheese pressed on top of a waffle. The brocollini was delicious.

    Tried the Nachos this time, which were essentially globs of cold cheese on what felt like bag tortilla chips. Half of our meals were a little cold and looked as though they’d been sitting out a while. Not our best experience this time -

    Table was not ready at our reserved time. The manager apologized and told us she would comp some appetizers, so we ordered some. Apparently, our server was not aware since he charged us for everything and the person paying the bill did not catch it until the bill was already paid.
