Since 2000, Tupelo Honey continues to inspire a revival of Southern food and traditions rooted in the Carolina Mountains we call home. Our first visit to Tupelo honey was good. We took a family member there for their birthday service was excellent and the restaurant had a very nice deal and was very comfortable for all of us. We all ordered our meals which they were good. One dish needed additional gravy because smothered they did not smother. The value was good for six of us to have dinner and just over $200. We plan on going again to try other dishes.

This was our 3rd visit and once again, it was awesome. The service and food are great. We have tried several entrees and sides and love them all, the Brussels and rosemary Parmesan potatoes are a favorite. It’s a favorite before Steelhead games, Egyptian show.

We’ve been to Tupelo Honey several times and have been impressed. Last Mothers Day was a great experience for our family. This year however was not so good. We were seated in the bar with 11 people including our 83 year old great grandmother and two small children. We made a reservation 2 months in advance so it’s not like we showed up and had to take what was available. Our server was great but the food took forever to arrive. I’m hoping the restaurant was having a bad day because I have really liked place in the past and would to continue to go there. Maybe just be specific about where you want to sit when making a reservation.

We went for Mother’s Day for the first time and it was amazing. The vibe is super chill even though they were super busy. We got to sit outside on a beautiful day. Our server, Liz was amazing. She is a pro at anticipatory service. When my husband took his last sip of sweet tea, she was there putting down a new full one. Honestly the best service. We wanted to say so and asked for the manager. Rami, he was amazing too. Everyone was so friendly. And the food was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

The food was decent, though items that were supposed to be spicy didn’t seem to really have any spice. By appearance, the decor looks great. However, when trying to have a conversation with people at your table, it’s almost impossible because you can hear everybody else since there is no separation of tables at all. Overall, the service was great, though there was one exception where a server put his hand on my husband, which made him a bit uncomfortable.
