It was great as always! Our server was great! Food and drinks were good. Will definitely go back!
Tupelo Honey not only has the best fried chicken and pork I have ever tasted but the staff is amazing. Not to mention the ambiance and views are great.
Service was really poor. From the reception to table side. They were more interested in the up sell more than anything. Food was mediocre at best which is fine for this type of restaurant. If the service was at least as good as the food it would have been enjoyable. However the service was so bad that it really ruined the experience. I have been here twice before and it was very good. This time around, it was so bad, that I wont be back.
The service and food was amazing! We will be coming back each time we are in Boise!
A great spot for comfort food in downtown Boise! The best Chicken dishes and Bannana Pudding in town.
Our food was outstanding and the waitress was superb. What a great restaurant.
Food was good. We each selected a different friend chicken. Dessert was good too. Drinks a bit overpriced and not so good. Wildflower Mule missing something and for almost $10, could have been better.
Chicken was very tough. We had friends from out of town and were sort of embarrassed because we had told them how good it was. Chicken is usually better, but was either reheated or overcooked.
Food was superb, wait staff friendly & accommodating. Easy reservations. 10/10 would recommend to friends & family. Will definitely come back.
WE ALWAYS REALLY ENJOY THIS SOUTHERN "COMFORT FOOD !!"
NOT A GOOD CHOICE FOR THOSE WISHING TO LOSE A FEW POUNDS,
BUT WHAT YUMMY, YUMMY CHOICES !!
Friendly and great food. I would definitely recommend this to friends and I'll go back for sure.
Great food and great service! It was our first time there but I can’t wait to go back for more fried green tomatoes.
The food and service were excellent. My wife is from the South and a self described, southern food snob. We both had the fried chicken, she had the mashed potatoes and fried okra. I had the Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. The sides were all incredible and the vegetables weren’t heavy or oily at all. The gravy on the chicken wasn’t super flavorful, so we’d bet that on the side or omit it next time.
The only issue we really had was that our outdoor reservation for two was hidden in the very back edge of the patio, near the entrance to the bathrooms and restaurant storage. The tables sit pretty low along the fence, and with the planters on the fence, there is no view and you’re pretty blocked in. The restaurant noise was fine. There was some of the Saturday night car revving going on along the street below, but that’s par for the course in downtown.
All of our burgers were dry, overcooked. Our waitress never came back to ask if we needed more drinks or anything else. We had to enlist a busboy to get our check. We’ve had better food and service on other trips. Hopefully, it was just a fluke.
We showed up right on time for our reservation on a Friday night but still had to wait 10 mins for our table to be ready. I can forgive that during COVID-19 since I know they have to do extra cleaning. All our food was excellent. As someone who tries to eat low carb, I was pleased to find many options on the menu that I could eat. This came as a pleasant surprise given my preconception of southern cuisine. They need to tighten up their food delivery system a bit. We were given the wrong appetizer which they quickly corrected. I indulged in the Queen Mary bloody mary drink which, on the menu, boasted an amazing array of garnishes including a grilled prawn. Mine was delivered without the prawn but by the time I noticed, I was already more than halfway done with it. They offered to get me a side prawn but by that time I was getting full so I declined. They did not deduct anything off the $15 price of the drink which kind of disappointed me. I would definitely go back there again but maybe during the week when it's less crowded or for Sunday brunch.
I was really disappointed that they took the roasted infused chicken off the menu. However the salmon I had was excellent, but it was a higher priced item. It was 80 outside and freezing inside. I was pleased when I mentioned how cold it was that they did adjust the temp. Still a favorite place to go.
Great southern food..evertthibg was dellish..they know how to fry regrets were spectacular Fried Chicken was great meatloaf is good we will definitely be back
We sat on the terrace and had a very nice and enjoyable dinner.
Tupelo Honey was a great all around experience. Phenomenal fried chicken. Good service. Great value.
We have visited many times before and have loved all of the food and wait staff. I had a salad this time which was really disappointed. Our waitress never offered to refill our drinks. I’ll still go again but will avoid the salad (not a great salad for the price) and hopefully get a more helpful waitress.
Service was very slow and drinks took a long time to get. Patio is great area to sit, but windy and cold. Would be nice to have heaters outside for nights and brunch mornings.
Always great service and atmosphere here- birthday brunch didn’t disappoint.
Dakota offered great service to our group. We told him we were not in a rush. He managed that perfect; never rushed us, but checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. I went twice in the weekend and had the beet salad (dressing on the side) with salmon and the burger. Cauliflower appetizer was our favorite. Oh and our cocktails were tasty too. Will definitely be going back.
Great food and outstanding service. Fried chicken and Mac and cheese were exactly what I was looking for.
We had a great experience. The food was very good and the service was equally good. We will certainly return.
The food was cold and slopped together. Nothing had flavor or seasoning to it. Overpriced for what it was. The fries tasted like Burger King. Disappointed.
My $18 chicken cobb salad was of lesser quality than one from a small salad bar. Bitter and yellow lettuce. Cheap cheese. Only quality items on it was avocado, the fried chicken (which was an extra $6) and the bacon was perfect. I love this place for its cocktails and ambience. I will be returning but that chicken cobb salad is overpriced and bad quality.
We will definitely be back! Drinks were excellent, food was fresh and flavorful and our server (Caleb) was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
Great food and drinks. I love the outdoor dining option on the patio.
Great food with good service. Definitely will be back
We had a reservation at noon. We stood very uncomfortably in a corner right next to families enjoying their meal. After watching 4 different groups of people (larger than our 4 top) come in after us and get seated before us (mind you we had a reservation) it was unacceptable for a place that is not exactly cheap and offers reservations as an option. Next time, we will skip the reservation since it seems that you get seated faster if you do not have one.
Overall good experience, however, the food took about an hour to finally come to our table. When it did arrive, it was somewhat cold, but fairly enjoyable. The service was phenomenal, but providing a biscuit with honey and butter isn’t going to make up for the delay in delivering our meals. Great aesthetic and environment, but relatively overpriced for something I could’ve ordered elsewhere. Not dogging on Tupelo Honey, but as my first time, I was expecting better.
I ordered a table for outside. Ended up having to wait 30 minutes outdooors while standing in heels only to be seated at the back corner of the inside of the restaurant. Not what I expect when putting in a reservation through open table and I’ve never had that experience any other time when booking at other restaurants.
Tupelo Honey has delicious food and a very helpful staff
The food is so phenomenal. They're doing a great job at managing pandemic issues while still providing a cool vibe and fantastic service. Our server Caleb was wonderful.
My husband said it's his new favorite restaurant in town.
Loved it! Great service. A great addition to Boise.
Been here 6 times since opening and had declining experiences since then and has lost some of its charm.
They are pretty much always very busy and now seem to focus less on the dining experience and more on getting patrons in and out quickly.
Went here for brunch for the first time yesterday. We loved sitting on the balcony in the fresh hair, our server was great, and the mimosas were delicious. Highly recommend.
Food was good, fried green tomatoes did seem to be pre-packaged. Drinks a bit on the more expensive side for quantity but overall very nice restaurant. Will be going back
Food was fantastic. We were seated promptly and the service was excellent.
