   Members of our party had appetizers, soup, seafood, and steaks. All were excellent. The steaks were prepared as ordered and could practically be cut with a fork. The side orders were equally well prepared. Some of the party guests were late, but there was no rush for the rest of us to order. We had drinks and talked until all guests arrived. The service was professional and friendly. Lastly, the desserts were amazing. All in all, it was a memorable evening with good friends, a great atmosphere, excellent food, and outstanding service. It was an evening at Trulocks. Enough said.

   Hilary was an amazing server! I had to send the king crab back (which I felt terrible about) but the crab was over cooked with no real flavor, not even the natural buttery flavor of crab. I really was astonished how badly the crab was cooked with lack of any real flavor. I got the lobster thermidor instead, which was good but still not worth the price. I don’t think I’ll be back.

   Food was awesome. Service was great. Very much enjoyed the dining experience here. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

   One of our very favorite restaurants; the food was excellent, as always. We felt the service wasn’t up to Truluck’s usual high standard. Our server was young, aggressive at pushing off menu items and pushy as far as trying to get us to order when we sat down. The server took away from our usually enjoyment of the evening. The crab fried rice was terrible - tasted like it had a pound of sugar in it and was more the consistency of cake. We will definitely be back as last night was unusual and not the Trulucks norm.

   I always love going to Truluck's Houston restaurant for Florida stone crabs when they are in season. This time we caught it on the last day. They have three sizes they call medium, large and jumbo. We started with a martini and a cosmo. They have a great bartender and the drinks are consistently perfectly made including the ones we got. My friend got the Monday all you can eat special which comes with medium size claws and 2 sides. The sides were a dinner salad up front and he got crispy French fries for the other. Both were perfect. I got 4 large size claws. I will say the large claws were perfect and delicious, as good as I have ever had after eating them there for probably 30 years. The mediums in the all you can eat special were not as consistent. Some good and some with poor texture and watery. The manager apologized and offered to bring a large or even a jumbo to make up for it, but we were too full. For desert, we split the Baked Alaska which comes with a pour of flaming rum on top done at the table. It was a delicious sweet treat. Our servers, Gloria and Jesus, were charms and joy to be with. Overall a great experience.

   Very nice experience with great food! There was a mishap where a server dropped the food—the Manager immediately remedy the situation. We chose this place for Mother’s Day and I’m glad we did. 10/10
