Not bad. The food was decent if a touch uninspired. With music overhead, baseball and college football going on at the bar it was nearly too loud to talk. The redeeming qualities were the excellent Olive Oil Cake and our waiter Taylor.
We had an excellent brunch. Joel’s service was attentive without being intrusive and the bourbon French toast was to die for! We can’t wait to come back.
One of my favorite places for date night. The food is always good. We ate out on the patio tonight and the weather was perfect. I always recommend this place!
Our server was nice for our first time here it was overall a great experience
Great food and service! Would come back here again.
Great food and service on a very busy Sunday. Regular menu is available along with the brunch menu. Best is that they have a dog friendly patio that's covered, so was nice and cool on a warm day.
I am 36 weeks pregnant. I ordered wedge salad and it came out with several large portions of the wedge brown and spoiled. Sent it back. Then the second attempt came out (after a solid 10-15 minutes) the same way. Waiter was great and handled it well but I really question the food quality inspection if they let it happen two times. And clearly I am not going to take any chances with compromised food during pregnancy.
Great restaurant with great food and drinks. Everyone who works there are friendly and helpful and we've never been disappointed with the quality of food or employees.
Food and service were amazing! Will tell my friends and family to come here!
Had the grilled artichoke as an appetizer then ordered the gyro platter. Both were delicious. It was enough to split which is what we did. Service was excellent and outside patio seating was shaded and very comfortable. I recommend this place.
This food is trash... loud loud loud restaurant with concrete floors... you hear everything... wait staff is poorly trained ... the only thing they did right was having Machete served at a decent temp
Brunch date. First time on Sunday. Pleasantly surprised about the live music on Sundays until 3. Food was delicious and SUPER filling, as usual.
We drive 1-1 1/2 hours to eat here on occasion. We have never been disappointed. Great food. Great staff. Yummy mimosas. Atmosphere is casual comfy.
Labor Day weekend getaway
Tyler at the bar and Shelby, our server most of time, are the reasons why we keep coming back. The food is good too.
Not a bad experience, just very underwhelming for the level expected and the price point.
I always like Tru Fire but was disappointed that none of the staff were wearing masks. Many restaurants have their staff in masks. Otherwise, food & service were good.
Amazing food and brunch menu!!! $2 mimosas!!!
Our waitress was wonderful, a very warm person. She brought desert with candle on it for my husband’s birthday which made the night very special.
So good!!!! Get the flatbread appetizer!
Waitress was not very attentive. Waited 10-15 minutes to come to table. All our drinks and water was empty. Drinks were weak and watery
Music could of been more soft for dining. Overall, great atmosphere, delicious food and good service.
The service was fantastic and the food was phenomenal! I could not have chosen a better place to have my birthday dinner. I really appreciated the fact they have a separate and extensive gluten-free menu.
Service was terrible we basically had to beg for refills, as you could watch the wait staff just huddled together talking instead of actually checking on tables.
Will not return!
We just had to wait about 5-10 minutes for our server, but a manager(?) did come take our drink orders, after we had waited./
Great, friendly service. Delicious food - especially the salads. Terrific wine selection. It was rated as $$ out of $$$$, but based on the prices, I believe it should be $$$. In my opinion it was a bit overpriced ($15 hamburger), but delicious nevertheless. It was busy and quite noisy, so it was hard to have a conversation. Overall, I recommend it as long as you know these things on the front end.
First time visit: delicious food, frustrating service, music a bit too loud for easy conversation. Food alone would bring me back.
Best and most innovative pasta dish I’ve had in YEARS! Highly recommend the Gyro Saltibocca 👍
The food was outstanding. The service was great, but for a bit of a backlog at the bar. To his credit, our waiter was not just waiting at the bar for our drinks, but he was pitching in to help the overwhelmed bartender get the drinks out. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and look forward to another good experience there next time.
TruFire Southlake used to be good but clearly post covid has gone down hill.
Food . Had Pasta with Gyro Lamb . Overcooked to the point of being inedible .
Noise unreal . I had to ask for the music to be turned down three times. Eventually it was but then I realised the music was there to drown out the screaming kids .
Server was attentive though distracted as she was also training a new member of staff .
You need to buck up your ideas TruFire
We enjoy going to TruFire for Sunday brunch. Everything is always great. The only problem is the music is too loud. We did not go to a dance hall or a party bar we went for brunch. The music was so loud we could not speak to the person next to us or our wait person.
The food was good. Not great, but good. But it was over priced for what it was, in our opinion. Great patio. If the value was a little more in line with the quality, we’d make this a regular date night.
Hubby had the Akaushi burger and I had the turkey burger. While other items on the menu are more expensive, these dishes are a terrific value - more than reasonably priced. We get the fig salad (delicious) with the burgers instead of the fries (no extra charge). Service was very good and wait staff was extremely solicitous (we had at least four different people check in with us, asking if we needed anything and making sure food was to our liking). They have a nice outside patio.
We are regulars here and I highly recommend the restaurant!
Such a great first time experience. My friends loved everything especially the entertainment. Who doesn't love brunch?
I like this place and food was delicious, service was a bit slow and music was a bit loud for me but overall I would go back again for sure.
Great spot for brunch! Food was fantastic - huge breakfast pizza could easily be shared and fresh toast was delicious. Mimosas were made the way we asked and the music was a fun touch! It’s pretty loud/lots of energy so don’t go for a quiet Brunch. Will definitely be back!
4th of July tradition with great friends! Management, staff are always welcoming and accommodating!
Food was served
Tasty and Nice Portion.
I chose Trufire for my birthday luncheon with friends. Shelby was our server and she left nothing to be desired because she was excellent! From the warm greeting to us asking for recommendations which we ALL loved as well as her attention to detail, I will make sure to ask for her when we go back. We had the crab dip, spicy chicken & shrimp pasta, Mediterranean salad and Texas Fig Salad. All dishes were delicious and I highly recommend this gem!! The icing on the cake is also the young man who made sure to beat us to the door and open it for us to leave while also sending us off with a warm going away greeting. It’s the small things like this that matter and will stay forever etched in my mind. Thanks for the invigorating experience and I will certainly be sending people there.
Good food, service could of been better, server didn't come back and check if we needed anything.
Service was wonderful and food was good too!
