Fresh from scratch food. Great service. Live this place.
The atmosphere was friendly and pleasant. My husband commented on how nice and how clean the bathroom was. Our food was delicious. We had pizza and salad. Both were unusual and delicious!
Their crab dip is my favorite. Excellent chicken sandwich!
Service was great. Food was really good. Drinks were good but a little expensive for what you get. I definitely would recommend this location for a satisfying dining experience.
Great food and great service. Very enjoyable, per usual.
Great dishing experience. Restaurant was very mindful of COVID rules and distancing. All servers wore masks. Our waiter Tyler was phenomenal and very attentive.
The bartender was awesome and managed both the bar top and the high top tables very well! Love this place.
Tables were situated to maintain social distancing and even though we lingered a bit for conversation, were never made to feel that we needed to get up and leave. This was a first restaurant visit for my friends and I am so glad we were able to be a bit leisurely. That was appreciated. I will be back.
Good option for dining during Covid restrictions. Support our local businesses so they can survive!!!!
It was SO good to be back. TruFire never disappoints. They are doing an amazing job with limited seating/social distancing. We were on the patio. I’m mad at myself for not getting our sweet server’s name.
Clean, great service. Salmon Benedict is sooo good
Great atmosphere! Fabulous servers! One of our favorite places to relax and enjoy a night out.
Great food, atmosphere and service. Highly recommend
I never have any issues here! In Love this place! We love Tyler!
Did not have Cornavoir wine. Ordered Muscato wine and was served reisling without telling me Muscato was not available.
We love TruFire and will continue to frequent this restaurant. The food is good and worth the money. They also have a great drink menu and overall good variety.
Waitress was outstanding!!! Food is always great! Salads are incredibly fresh and all the menus items are unique, you won't find them anywhere else.
I have dined at other TruFire Kitchens in the past, and been very pleased! So I decided to take an out-town guest to the Southlake location. Very disappointed in the Caeser Salad along with the Chicken Marsala for the main course. The chicken was overcooked being tough and the mushroom In the sauce we're not tender at all. The chocolate dessert was good and the Pinot Noir happened to be the best part of the meal. I was very disappointed and felt terrible that I chose this place over others to take my guest. Don't believe I will return to the Southlake location again
Always a lovely experience at TruFire! Grab the TruMac or the Latin Fire ‘pizza and you’ll leave happy.
Great food, great service, great location. This restaurant never disappoints
Friday night meet up with friends. Great gluten free menu and all of us were pleased with our selections.
We love this place. Very consistent and always great service.
Birthday. Very courteous and food was excellent
Our server Alex was excellent! Timely service and always pleasant with a smile. The food was excellent, portions good, love love love the French press coffee! Blackberry mimosa a great value!
Surprisingly good food for Southlake town center. The garlic pasta and arugula dish was very good, the salad with pecans was outstanding. Also, the wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Great experience.
More of a sandwich/pizza place. Not thrilled by the entrees or dinks. Desert to go was the best course
My wife and I ate at this restaurant for Valentine’s Day which of course I reserved a table on this app for about 8:00pm. Overall, our experience was just okay. Nothing to toot any horns about or yell at atop the mountain peak. Which is odd, because for what I paid for two salads, hummus and two drinks, you’d think the experience would be a lot better.
So that’s how I’m rating our experience: value = benefits / cost.
Minus the Papyrus font usage, the restaurant seemed nice on the outside and was not too crowded inside. We were sat in the back, in the corner, which is fine I get that the host needs to spread out tops for different servers. There was one candle on one table and none on the rest - keep in mind it’s Valentine’s Day - so my wife took the candle from that table and put it on ours. The server was not prompt at all but nonetheless was very nice.
We ordered hummus, two drinks and eventually two salads. I was asked how my meal was before I took a bite, the server was constantly asking us how we were doing, and had trouble identifying if we needed our dinner plates cleared. I admit I did ask her to leave the hummus because it clearly had some bread left on it, and who doesn’t finish pita bread?
This is a long winded review but I guess what I’m most disappointed with is I felt I overpaid for moderate food, undercut drinks and novice service. Sure, it’s not Dallas and I’m not a “foodie” that tries to be hard on every little thing. But, spending over $80 for this meal was not worth my money and I hate to say it but I will never return at those prices. This restaurant is a glorified Chili’s that charges double for being in South Lake. Seems like I helped pay rent.
Great food, the place was pretty loud and not conducive to intimate conversations.
We enjoyed our evening. Been here multiple times and have not been disappointed.
I was disappointed that upon returning home I received a message from Open Table asking why we had missed our reservation. We had not and responded as such. I never heard confirmation that the error was resolved.
We will return here again but am not sure Open Table is the way to go. They seem to have a record keeping problem.
Yummy yummy from scratch food! Many gluten free options.
Always a fun time at Trufire with a menu that has something for everyone! We were celebrating a birthday and the staff made it very special.
Gluten free menu, server was familiar with gluten free items. Food was delicious.
Their food is excellent. It’s a scratch kitchen, so all is fresh. The pizzas are good. Chicken Marsala is amazing! Good crab dip. Meredith, bartender, is wonderful. She moves very fast and is quite helpful making selections and fixing drinks. Love this place!
Great for a Sunday brunch! Our service was awesome!
One of my favorite places to go for brunch!
My husband and I split the prime rib sandwich and the seafood pasta. Both were delicious!!
Food and Service were great!
