This was our first visit to TFK at the UTC mall. The restaurant is beautiful and the food, as expected, was fresh and flavorful. The servers were friendly and helpful. It was a nice experience all around!

Excellent menu with many options. Tasty and creative. I appreciated the many gluten free items. It was perhaps a tad noisier than I desired but this was satisfactory for a foursome. Not sure how well the noise would work out for a larger group.

Good food, clean ingredients and a nice open modern restaurant. It took the server time to take our order because they were understaffed, but once we ordered, our food came out rather quickly. Overall we had an excellent lunch and we plan to visit again!

Our server was super and provided great wine and menu advice as well as attentive service. Food was excellent. We had the Korean bowl preceded by the Cauliflower and Brussels sprouts starters.

The lasagna was a little too salty for my liking but the hummus platter was delicious. I also got a side of steak which was cooked to perfection. My husband really enjoyed his pizza. Tho he says the fennel would be better thinly sliced. The server was friendly and pleasant.

Our crew loved all the dishes we ordered which were overpriced but delicious and it was a fun place to go before our night out. We had the teriyaki quinoa bowl which came with a heavy amount of sauce so if you prefer a less-salty taste, ask for it on the side or a lightly sauced. The butternut squash soup will be had again and again. The Hawaiian Rice bowl mmmm but all quinoa, no rice, still it was tender and delicious. Lastly, a plain burger on a gluten-free bun with potatolings. Didn't go over as well as fries but dessert made up for that. Kids gluten-free, vegan, chocolate chip cookie sundae and the gluten-free chocolate cake with coconut ice cream, caramel sauce and cocoa nibs. Will return.

Ordered the meatloaf. Although very tasty, it was a very small portion for $22. Wouldn’t order it again for that reason.

Our menu and portion sizes are based off Dr. Andrew Weil's Anti Inflammatory diet, but we understand this isn't the ideal portion size for everyone. I would suggest one of our Turkey or Grass-fed Burgers as they tend to be more filling :). Hope you will give us another try! Have a great weekend!

Disappointing experience at one of my usual favorites. Service was really slow and server disappeared for a very long time while we waited to ask a question. A side order of tomatoes looked like two wilted slices that had been sitting on the counter for an hour. We ordered coffee with cream. It wasn’t until my friend asked that we were informed it was oat milk, not dairy. That was a huge no-go for my friend & if we wouldn’t have asked she would have had a severe allergic reaction. The food was decent, although it took a long time to arrive. Just a verse on several points.

I used to think that the Ancient Grains Bowl was the best item on any restaurant menu in all of San Diego. I ordered it as well as an appetizer, which was the cauliflower dish. I am now totally addicted and have told many people about it and look forward to coming back very soon to order it again.

Server said the restaurant was out of dishes and then told us the restaurant had the dishes after we ordered. The server forgot a drink order and asked what tip we wanted to leave. It was an odd experience.

Came for early brunch/lunch on Sat. The menu was limited both in appetizers and main menu items. They were out of the most popular appetizers and not offering noodle bowls. It was 11:30 so not busy but service was slow. I usually love True Food but this experience was disappointing.

We dined here for our son’s graduation.The food was fresh and delicious. The specialty cocktails were yummy (Smoke Show Old Fashioned, Gray Whale, Skinny Margarita). We ordered various entries (Lasagna, Poke Bowl, Peruvian Grass Fed Burger, Pesto Pasta with chicken) which were all delicious. Our server Gigi was amazing, she was very friendly, professional, attentive, and made the occasion extra special!!

Another good meal. Tried the turkey burger and it was really good. It is a little loud in there if you have small kids. My 9 month old was a little triggered with the acoustics, but it’s easy enough to take a walk outside and look at the fish in the little pond. Friendly staff as always and quick service.

The corn soup was watery. My nephew watermelon mojito was filled to the top with ice and a small amount of alcohol. My Greek salad was bland and my artichokes were hard. I go to TrueFoods all Over the US. This one was ok. Our desserts and pizzas were fantastic.

The food is always great and the freshness, fun atmosphere and conversation always seem to flow well - this time our server was overly pushy and not engaged in the actual needs our table had for the meal - being veterans of the restaurant we steered it back and had a great meal!

Don’t be afraid of the vegan cheeseburger- it was really good! Our server was very nice. Got a cocktail that was tasty. Prices are a bit high, but it’s UTC - their rent must be ridiculous.

We are huge fans of True Food, so a review for the restaurant (which was awesome) would be redundant. This was our second time at the UTC restaurant, and we had the pleasure of getting Lexi ate our server. My family is not the easiest to serve, but Lexi was amazing! She was patient, knew every item on the menu (even though she just started at True Food), and she was quick to take care of our table. Because of Lexi, we will be back!

Overall dinner was good but had some plastic on one entree. Sloppy on kitchen staff. They comped the entree but dinging them since stuff like that should just not happen. It was my guest who got the plastic too.
