The food is amazing. Everyone liked their meal. We took our nephew for his first time. Our server was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and courteous and engaging.

Service was laughably bad. We were between shifts, I think. So many employees running around doing seemingly nothing. 45 mins to get drinks on our table. Our server seemed like a clueless college kid, poor thing.

True Food is a decent option for healthy dining at Stanford Shopping Center, but unfortunately, my recent visit was disappointing. This is the second time I’ve had a negative experience here, and I regret giving it another chance. I definitely won’t be returning. During this visit, it took a long time to be greeted and seated, even though we had a reservation. While our server was friendly and apologized for the delays, the service was still slow. I ordered a Chinese chicken salad, but it was missing several components listed on the menu. The lettuce was wilted, old, and practically rotting. It was drenched in a wet dressing, making the salad unappetizing. The server acknowledged my concerns and said she would bring the manager over to discuss the issue. However, the manager never came, and the unappealing salad sat in front of me while my friend enjoyed her meal. Although the server offered to bring me something else and apologized again, I was too turned off to wait any longer for a new dish. She did remove the salad from the bill, but that was the extent of the resolution. Dining out is meant to be a special occasion and it can be quite expensive. Unfortunately, there was nothing special about this experience, and I don't believe it was worth it. Never again!

We recently returned to TFK after not going there for a few months. Glad that the restaurant has listened to customers feedbacks, and up leveled their services and overall value of food offerings. We definitely enjoyed the weekend brunch menu as well as their burger and sandwich selections. You can taste the freshness and quality in their ingredients, especially the eggs, meat patty and other proteins. Good job, TFK! You are back on our favorite list!
