We go to true food because of our severe food allergies and they always do well
The food was outstanding - a bit loud but still very enjoyable! I had the unbeetable burger and I would highly recommend it.
I love this place but it is quite overpriced for the amount of food you get
My daughter is a vegan, so coming here is a real treat, she absolutely loves your restaurant.
The wait time for drinks was extensive. Also we ordered salads followed by entrees and everything was delivered at once, this makes the meal get cooled off while we're eating the salad and sipping our cocktail. The timing is something that would stop me from coming to the restaurant as it has been a common occurrence.
Excellent service and delicious food...what more do you need?
I was worried that the restaurant was overrated, but was pleased with the delicious food. Everyone loved their selection including a noodle salad, burger and lasagna. I would definitely go back and only wish it was easier to get in.
My wife and I dined here for a date night. She comes here often and loves the food. This was my second time here and the food and service was amazing. The staff were very kind and on top of everything. Definitely coming back.
Great staff! Our favorite weekend brunch /lunch place. Love the food!
We went with our month old baby to this place. I’d recommend making a reservation through open table if you don’t want to wait! Excellent food and service! Highly recommend
The food here is consistently good. Waiters can sometimes be hurried but still usually have good support from bussers. Our child has a wheat allergy so he really enjoys the kids burger with gluten free bun. I like the kale aid and panang curry with shrimp. All the ingredients here taste good and fresh so it is a consistent winner. Considering the location in a high rent shopping center the prices are reasonable.
first time in a long time seeing the brunch menu, excited to try the breakfast sandwich and as the waitress told us that it was good, it was very good.
Great experience, quite noisy but good if you have kids not so great for conversation. Food was wonderful. Would def go again.
Excellent healthy food! Inside is very noise so we ate on the patio. Service (Amanda) was impeccable.
Always a great treat, friendly staff and healthy portions. Just keep in mind the noise level is HIGH and regardless of the time of day they’re busy. Which busy is a good sign! I would suggest making reservations in advance to help with wait time.
Never had a bad meal here. They are a little pricy for the goods but they deliver. The food always comes hot and ready, and the wait staff has always been good. I will come again.
This is by far my favorite everyday dining restaurant. It’s as though you and your girlfriends found a Genie in a Bottle and presented your wishes for the perfect restaurant and “voila!” wish granted. The food here tastes AMAZING. I mean literally everything! Each dish is made with delicious whole and healthy ingredients and there are so many fantastic gluten free options. They update their menu seasonally, so my first bit of advice is to try their seasonal specialties while you have the chance. Current favorites include the Korean Noodles and the Cauliflower Polenta, but no matter what items are on the current seasonal menu, the one thing I’m certain of is that you’ll miss them when they’re gone. They also offer a wide range of mouth watering menu staples. Some of our favorites include the Gluten Free Blueberry Muffin on the brunch menu (so moist!), the Fish Tacos (just thinking about them makes me hungry), the Farmers Market Crudités (as pretty as it is tasty), the GF Lasagne Bolognese (you’ll never believe it’s GF and a relatively low calorie choice), and the edamame dumplings (not GF, but so good I’ve been known to risk the stomach ache). And, of course, because you and your girlfriends wished for it, they also have a tasty and healthy kids menu and a drink menu that includes everything from Kamboucha and the perfect green juice to delectable cocktails. Trust me on this one! True Food Kitchen is a wish come true.
Great food, and Service..... but restaurant was cold and very loud.
bumped into an old friend who lives in Texas and came in here for the 3rd time in 2 weeks. Ordered the seasonal salad today and found it way too salty, I didn't even finish it. Didn't want to complain due to happy gathering atmosphere and waitress probably assumed we loved everything.
Definitely not ordering this again, albeit seasonal, but will complain next time.
But as always, we like TFK.
So loud which can be fun, but its a bit too loud. Food delicious, service awesome, prices a bit high (especially the juices).
Awesome service, best food in the Bay.
Very healthy and excellent food/selections
The food was great, as always. The space was cold (and not at all comfortable or cozy) and it was extremely noisy.
Our server was outstanding very informative and upbeat.
Our meal was delicious.
It was a little loud and hard to hear conversation.
The hostess deleted our open table reservation. Had to call to get it reinstated.
Health, good food, but noisy environment and music detracted from the experience.
The only place to have a conversation is outside. The inside is very loud.

Ancient Grain Bowl - So good! Love coming to True Food!
Overall the visit at TFK was just shy of outstanding. Within moments of stepping in the restaurant and claiming our reservation, one of the servers approached the hostess about the whereabouts of a table. The hostess responded with "what about it?" with a rude or confused intonation, this was not the way I wanted to start my visit. I had the feeling of the need to walk on eggshells around her that or not approach her for any need or concern. On the other hand the waiter and servers that I interacted with when we were seated were excellent. I appreciate the delicious food and drinks which also include European wines.
Excellent place. Good value. Excellent food and service. Would highly recommend.
True Food offers fresh food, healthy and delicious food served in innovative ways. The only drawback is the noise level which is high. Otherwise, I love going there.
We were seated late for our reservation which was a bummer
As vegetarian, this place provides me with many options. I also think the food is lighter and smoother for taste bud.
Wonderful service, healthy and delicious food, what else can you ask for?
Always love True Food Kitchen. The food is delicious and the service always top notch,
Very lively environment. If you are conducting a business meeting or a conversation where it's important to catch every detail, you may want to ask for seating that's in the back or near the windows. There's a great energy and active vibe.
Brought my cousin and her husband who are from out of town. They’re both vegan and they absolutely loved it! Definitely coming back again.
Very busy night, delayed seating by 25 minutes. Waitress overwhelmed but maintained good service
Our server was awesome. He had the chef make a hot apple cider that was so delicious. It was our 5 year Old’s birthday and we made a reservation two days in advance. Unfortunately we still had to wait 20 additional minutes. The pizza looks smaller but it was good. My only issue with True Food is the lack of getting a reservation or the way it is done.
The reservation system is pretty awful there. We consistently make reservations and then are told to stand in an awkward spot for ten minutes, even when there is tons of space. This past time was no different. 20 minutes after our reservation we were encouraged to stand at the bar. They called when our table was eventually ready but there is no cell service inside so we didn’t get the call. Would have had to wait 15 more minutes for a table but at that point we just ate at the bar. Disappointing.
Food was fine tonight, not as good as past experiences.
It was super noisy. There were 6 of us, and you could only talk to the person next to you as it was too hard to hear anyone further away than that.
