Patio was open, very busy and bustling. Good energy all while keeping the safe distancing and use of masks. No wind, and beautiful northern california climate!

Wonderful, amazing experience AGAIN!! Sitting outside without a heater at 7:00pm was still a pleasant dining experience. Edamame dumplings, my favorite! Delicious, delicate pillows floating in a lightly scented yet flavorful broth with gems of Edamame scattered about!!!!

True Food is a consistently good value; whole, healthy, colorful foods, with captivating ingredients, for decent prices. Gluten-free options are superb, and valuable!
Sometimes meals are over-salty, but no big deal. So many choices! Fantastic, yet limited dessert menu. Best flourless chocolate cake ever!

Our major concern was the COVID safety and they are taking good measures to ensure safety of the patrons. They have added seasonal dishes which were good.

Food not as good as used to be. However still good. Sitting outside in the shade which is to be expected. However very few heaters, probably half as many as they need. Probably 75% of the customers were obviously cold. Won’t be back until or if they correct the comfort level.

Food was great but the service was poor. We asked for our sides 3 times and never got them. They handed us the check five minutes after we got our food.

Waiter sat us near an outdoor table with a heater but the heater wasn’t working. Pointed this out but got brushed off and the heater gas bottle was not replaced. We ate dinner in the cold.

Love everything here....warm staff, fresh delicious food that doesn't feel like GUT BOMB!! Edamame dumplings great mix of tender noodle and light filling. Crystal the manager and Whitney are so fun, informative, professional and genuinely caring for customers. We'll be back and continue to bring friends for experience to become fans, too!!

Due to the Covid-19 situation, we sat outside which is a nice space but it was quite cold and we were told that there were not enough heaters and only half of the ones that they did have, had propane. Given the season and that most people feel more comfortable sitting in an open space, I would have expected an organization like True Food Kitchen to be better prepared, given the 8 months of Pandemic that we have just experienced, I won't return until I feel safe to sit indoors or the weather is more conducive for outdoor dining again, as I can't trust that TFK will have it's act together. Dissapointing.

This was our first time here since the pandemic began in March and the food was amazing! We’re vegan so we ordered the squash soup (complex, rich and satisfying), brussel sprouts (charred with onions and chanterelle mushrooms and the perfect amount of sweetness), the Korean noodles (very good but not at the same level as the other dishes), and the squash pie (vegan, gluten free and just wow!).
The service was friendly and attentive (once we got our server’s attention). I had forgotten just how very good this place is—we will definitely be back very soon! ❤️

Great professional service. Attentive but not fussy. Every dish delicious- Charred Cauliflower, edamame dumplings, butternut squash pizza ALL DELICIOUS! Squash pie with light coconut cream on top...pretty and TASTY .

We miss sitting at the bar, but the seasonal cocktails were GREAT and all the food tasted as good, if not better than we remembered! Friendly servers. Wish we could buy the shirts as swag.

Restaurant both patio and indoor section were freezing. They did not run the heaters outside.

Our food was great! Tasty, healthful, colorful, and lovely presentation for the food and great service. Only complaint from the table was that the shrimp tacos were good but not amazing - just kind of generic? We had several seasonal menu items that were definitely amazing and I would come back just to try more and some repeats! Great meal and everyone was happy!

It was great! They had space heaters outside, which was perfect in addition to the nice cool weather we’re getting in the Bay. The food is delicious as always, especially the seasonal Squash pie (vegan & GF!).

The food never disappoints. The servers are always so sweet, helpful & knowledgeable. I love their “original house made cocktails”. The Herbalist & Common Bond were my favorite. I could literally eat there everyday and not tire of the menu. True Food is now one of my fav restaurants.

It was a chilly during lunchtime and was told the heat lamp will not be turned on. My friend and I ate our lunch in the cold.

The food was below average. The salmon was overcooked and over-salted, and cauliflower was soggy. I have heard salads are good, but haven't ordered one this time. Might give it one more time for salads.
