Calling all foodies. Since 2009, Trio has been recognized as one of Palm Springs’ best restaurants. In 2023, owner Tony Marchese transformed the restaurant interior bringing a modern subtlety to the mid-century building in the Uptown Design District. I ordered the special, Wagyu Ribeye steak...it was excellent..served on delicious mashed potatoes with brocollini...Also orderd the biscuits which were so good.

The food was very good. The staff was very friendly and nice. It was a very busy night so the waitress was initially very slow to get us our first round of drinks, but otherwise it was a very nice evening.

All did a fine job from the minute we arrived. Busy time as it was during the Parade. One support/bus person was especially excellent in doing whatever he noticed (or was asked) to accommodate our party (as well as those @ adjacent tables). Kudos to the tallish slim dark haired young man. Much appreciated. Keeper for sure! Thanks

Two of us had the Tomahawk Pork Chop. We were expecting a nice large bone in chop. What they served was 4-5 slices of pork along with a separate bone. Pork was extremely fatty. Small portion. Side dish that came with it was inedible. Large dry kidney type beans along with some unidentifiable greens. I didn’t see any type of remodel. Appears just the menu got remodeled and the good stuff taken off. So disappointed. Won’t go back.

We arrived on time for our 6PM reservation. We were seated at a table under what appeared to be a flood light. We asked to have the light dimmed and were told that it was not possible as it was on a fixed switch. We asked to be reseated to a different table as there were many in the restaurant. Our option was one table by the service door to the kitchen even though there were many other unoccupied tables. We asked for another option but were denied. The wait person was very pleasant and professional but her hands were tied. Two of us had the agnolotti which came to the table very cold and was returned to the kitchen. The other two patrons had the bucatini which was warm and tasty. So two of us ate while the other two had to wait for their dinners to be prepared again. As Palm Springs residents we will not return to Trio and will not recommend it to our friends.

We were so excited for this place and it was a bust: ordered a bottle of wine for the table and we got a bait and switch. Waiter spilled red wine on my dad’s white clothes and couldn’t be bothered to apologize or really care. Dude was fairly indifferent towards the 8 of us in spite of the place not being very busy. One member of our party is allergic to red bell peppers and ordered roast squash because from the menu, it seemed a good bet. Squash came with red bell peppers. When we pointed out the roast squash had red bell peppers, it was as if we were too dumb to not know that’s a staple with roasted squash? By the time dessert rolled around, we had been ignored so much that we decided to leave and go elsewhere.

I keep giving this place a chance and yesterday was it. The food was horrible. Every plate came out cold and with zero flavor. On top of the horrible meal. The waiter or staff never opened the bottle wine or cleaned the table. We literally had to bus our own table. A complete disappointment for a Thanksgiving dinner.

We dined on thanksgiving. Waited almost an hour after our reservation to be seated and food took forever. We were there almost 3 hours. Food was good and the servers were doing the best they could, but it was a disappointing experience

Waiting time for reservation was 30 minutes. Waiting time for Thanksgiving meal was 45 minutes for first course. Second course 45 minutes. Third course 30 minutes. Food was okay. I feel they took on to many reservations so they were behind from onset.

Went there for Thanksgiving dinner, food was delicious! Unfortunately, it was a long wait, they informed us this was due to OpenTable overbooking the restaurant, the restaurant managed the best they could. I would go back, staff were nice and food was great.

Food fantastic, Service decent, wait of 20 mins. past our reservation time of 5:00pm was no problem. We were sat in a corner next to the wall into the kitchen where everyone was goin in and out. The person sitting on that side next to it really didn’t like it. It was so noisy. I had a view of the busboys taking dirty dishes into be cleaned. A little expensive for what was served. I think Thanksgiving and most holidays are rip-offs at most restaurants. Ask for a better table.

Outstanding service- the hosts, accommodating our request to be moved outside because of the noise inside (we had an elderly person who couldn’t hear inside) and our waiter with our other food requests. The food was delicious and an amazing value for the price. Super appreciated the variety in the menu- especially having the ‘a la carte’ in addition to the Thanksgiving menu. THANK YOU!!

We haven’t been to Trios in a few years and we heard that the food has improved and so has the ambience so we thought we’d give it another try. Sad to say there was no improvement. The food was mediocre and bland. They seated us up in an area where there were no other patrons. We will not be going back anytime soon.

Trio is one of our fav restaurants. Recently they changed the menu and it is a winner! Started with biscuits and beef carpacio. We had pasta which is home made. Dominick is attentive and makes great recommendations.

As long time TRIO customers it was nice to see the renovations that have been done, and the updated menu. Dominique was a great waiter (as always) and the food was excellent. I would only suggest one or two additional fish options in addition to the salmon choice.

Wanted to try the new menu and new chef's creations. The Wagu carpaccio was good. Not balanced but good overall. Tomahawk Pork Chop is kind of a miss. Not nearly as big as the title makes is sound. Just on the bone and a single chop. The beans are too mealy. Not a fav. The Bucatini with Meatball was a hit. So yummy with homemade pasta, sauce and the meatball was made with veal and ground beef. Sancerre was on point but the second time it was not cold enough for a cold crisp white wine. It should be colder. Its like its stored with the reds! Server and busser were great and very attentive. I would go back and try it again. Overall a good value.

Was very unhappy with the menu selections. In my opinion, it was very limited . The service was excellent !!!

The service, food was great. They sat a party of 6 or 7 that thought nothing of screaming at each other.

The old Trio was fabulous. The new menu is pretentious, sparse and the lack of customers shows that it is not working. The selections in each category were unappealing. Some kind of greens on the plate was entirely inedible while the beans were mediocre and the "tomahawk" pork chop was fileted off the bone and undercooked. I have been a regular at Trio for the last 30 years and I won't be coming back.

The new trio is terrific. The menu is changed: imaginative and very tasty. If you went to the old trio and had a less than great experience, I would urge you to try the new trio. We’ve taken several people who had vowed never to go back who are now regulars. Fun place.

The service was terrible, the waitress and manager were very inexperienced. The scallops came raw and the manager said that is how they are prepared. Only one of us liked our meal

We love this resturant. The food is always tasty, served at proper temperature, and displayed well. They have just rebranded their menu which does not now contain some of our favorite's. They do not have the wide choice of entree's like they have had in the past and my favorite Wedge Salad is no longer nor their Rack of Lamb. Having said this, the tomato salad we had and the pasta dish, which I am sorry I do not remember the name, were just so flavorful, it made me forget my favorites of the past. Still a great place, still great service, and we sat outside in front at a round table which absolutely a perfect spot. Recommend Trio as a must try place.
