I had crab bisque. Decent size. Hot n tasty. The lobster n crab cannelloni. Small. Delicious
Especial thanks to the hostel who charged my phone.
Great for brunch before Saints' games. Reservations needed on those days. Trenasse is a fun place with outstanding seafood and an easy walk to the Dome.
We had the best experience last Sunday for brunch before the Saints game. The food was wonderful and the service was even better. The manager took care of us and we never had an empty Mimosa glass.
Our first experience at Trenasse was outstanding. The service and ambiance plus excellent food made it feel like a very special night.
This recent trip did not live up to those expectations, unfortunately. Our food was still amazing, but the restaurant was very crowded. Because of this, our server was overworked and sometimes hard to track down. The overall noise level also made conversation more difficult between my husband and I.
Again, the food was great, but the overall experience was lacking for the price of the meal.
The service and atmosphere was out of this world. I would easily recommend this to my family friends and neighbors.
This restaurant takes simple Cajun fare and elevates it to the next level. Stinky's seafood stew comes in a flavorful broth and don't miss the fiery shrimp appetizer. Our server was wonderful -- very attentive. The only thing a bit lackluster was the dessert.
The ladies in the front were super nice and professional as was the waitstaff. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
It was a great experience. The food was delicious. My family and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.
Great food. However, I received only 3 scallops on my entree that cost $32. It was good but thought there should have been more than 3
The service was excellent. The crab bisque was amazing !!
Food was very good. However, about 1/3 menu was unavailable.
Was with a couple from DC area. They loved Trenasse.
Brian M. was an awesome experience. Food was great. Service was even better.
Great venue for a small group business dinner. Food & beverage suggestions were Spot-On, the Chef came to our table to make introduction and describe food parings. Hard to find that level of attention anywhere in NOLA, and the food experience was just way beyond the level of 5-stars that this scale offered.
It’s at the top of my recommendation list.
Spare ribs way too salty. Waiter distracted by a big party. Ambiance too much "tourist birthday party"...
Good food and good service. The place was a bit loud for our taste.
The food and the service were excellent! What was incredibly disappointing were the patrons at the large table that were so loud and cursing so much I could not have a pleasant conversation with my husband. I believe a server finally asked them to keep it down. I feel it was managements job. Unfortunately, when they were leaving I heard the manager apologize to them for their getting upset at the suggestion they keep it down. I was not impressed by this.
While a high paying table may be the focus for mgt , the numerous other patrons paying who were being disturbed should have been also.
Such a great find. Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. The presentation was outstanding. The oyster log was a hit. We will definitely be back!
I have booked with Trenasse many of times and have always had wonderful service. This time I brought a group of 10 ladies for a very special event and telling them how great this place was and it was awful Service this time. We waited almost 30 minutes for our first drinks, over 45 minutes to get our appetizers after I had to go track down our waiter . Never was able to order entrees and worst of all one of my guest got charged a wrong amount that was outrageous . The bill was $42.50 put an $8 tip down and was charged $80 on her card.
$43.50 + $8 is $51.50 not $80 !!!!
Excellent food. Service a bit slow.
We ate brunch here two days in a row. We all had the bottomless mimosas. It was an unhurried and yummy experience both times and Ryan was our waiter (by request the second day). We enjoyed our food and our time there immensely. Highly recommend!
Trenasse was excellent! Our service was outstanding! Evelyn suggested an amazing meal, and spoke about her job with such passion. She really made our dinner a special event.
We had the char broiled oyster log. It was extremely tasty. We will be back.
Lettuce in salad was wilted and brown. Ceviche below average. Pesto that accompanies cauliflower was not tasty. In general food was way below average. Waitress picked up dirty dishes without noticing that she took my fork (never to return) and people next to us were also trying to get someone's attention to get silverware - so service leaves a lot to be desired. When I told my waitress that it was unacceptable to serve black and brown lettuce she tried to convince me that they get fresh lettuce in every day. All she needed to do was look at my plate to see how ridiculous she sounded. Never again. Luke across the street is infinitely better.
This place is a hidden gem located in the Intercontinental Hotel. The food is always consistent and good.
Very noisy, excessive wait for service, meal was not prepared as ordered and final meal appeared after others had finished eating, no apologies, then waited excessive time for check.
We had dinner with another couple and the food was outstanding! Can’t wait to go back!!
Soups were great, but everything else was bland and not very flavorful. The descriptions made entrees sound excellent, but flavor fell flat. Even the loaf of bread, which you have to pay for, was lifeless.
The restaurant itself was very loud and hard to enjoy.
Overall, I’d say this was an ok experience but not a hit like so many others in New Orleans!
Always welcoming dining is very good service is great
Celebrating a colleague receiving a major award, 11 of us had a terrific table, great waitress, and terrific food. What more could you want?
The food was very good. Crab bisque was amazing. Servers were quite attentive, very friendly. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
Food was very good! Fresh fish and delicious local fare. Service was not the best. Server didn’t bring out the usual bread/ pork rinds with red bean butter.
Very noisy place: the architecture is responsible for one, a minority of clients out of bounds—and nobody to calm them down. I had to wait to much to get my second glass of white wine.
Not a pleasant experience. Too bad.
Delicious food!! Great service and food suggestions! I had a rabbit dish with some rose!! Also cauliflower app was a hit along with some roasted oysters!!! Definitely top notch service!
Wonderful experience! $10 bottomless mimosas and they are definitely on top of refills!
Great food. Great service. However, 2 people in my party were charge $1600 and $1100 in a separate transaction to their bill. All of our bills together didn’t total even close tia thousand.
Happy to revise this once this has been addressed.
Booked for my friends birthday, visiting from the UK - service was excellent. Food a little underwhelming, nice enough.
The weekend brunch never disappoints. Good food, bottomless mimosas, what more could you want.
The good was good -has the sword fish and the snapper- swordfish was best. Just don’t add anything to the fish- offerings of crab, shrimp or crawfish-it was $12 more- didn’t know until got the bill.
The stinky juice was awesome!
We had an amazing experience. Food was excellent and service was exceptional...thank you Nase! If you’re looking for an evening out with outstanding food and service, we would highly recommend Trenasse!
