   This is the GEM of Temecula! Read the reviews and went to see for myself. The food is made from scratch, all made in house. The staff was extremely courteous especially our server Nicole. The food is AMAZING! Keep in mind, this is not fast food or heated up frozen dishes. We met with the owner/chef PIETRO and discussed some of what folks had said. He apologized that anyone would have had a bad experience. He is very passionate about his Italian heritage, food passed down generations, and WINE! I had the Ravioli Filet, best Ravioli pasta dish! ALL of our dishes were amazing. So much so, that we went back the next night! Chef was excited to see us and asked if he could bring us special dishes paired with wine. We of course accepted and it truly was one of the best dining experiences we’ve participated in. He brought out Gnocchi Gorgonzola first, then we had a Caesar Salad. Followed that up with his special of the night which was a Shrimp Risotto which was to die for!!! I can’t describe the sauce how it deserves, but it was a chile infused red sauce. The perfect amount of spice! Finally we had the Lasagna. It’s next level and unlike anything I’m sure you’ll ever experience. In parting, Trattoria Toscana is the MUST VISIT restaurant if you are visiting Temecula. Go in with patience and just enjoy the experience! 5 ⭐️!!!!

   Chef Pietro is the real deal. Italian born he cooks with a hint of California cuisine. His pasta and bread are freshly made on premises and are delicious and thoroughly authentic. Short of a flight to Italy, you won't get better Italian cuisine than at Trattoria Toscana

   We hadn’t been for a couple of years, but I recalled how outstanding it was so for my birthday this year I wanted to return. I was not disappointed. The service was outstanding, the food was excellent with great presentation, flavor and thoroughly enjoyable.

   The restaurant has a very nice menu to choose from, delicious freshly made meals, the noodles were freshly made! A very quaint dining atmosphere. We will look forward to visiting again.

   Wow, please stay away from here. Service was bad, plain bad. The table next to us complained about their service. They had a valid argument, one of their dishes came out over 30 minutes later than everyone else's, and only because they complained it hadn't come out yet and everyone else was done eating. The waitress took the beating and did as she should, went and got the manager. The manager came over and took another beating and apologized. Then the owner came over and extremely unprofessionally told the customer to stop yelling, and I'm putting that as nice as possible. She was getting louder and louder, not yelling, but again for good cause. They decided they weren't having it and get up and leave. The owner then came to my table and asked us if she was yelling. Not really wanting to be part of all of this, we said she was justifiably upset, but not yelling. He left, then a few minutes later the waitress came to our table and wanted to understand why we didn't think she was yelling. I had to get up and address the waitress and the owner about what I saw, both at the table and the nonsense of bringing my family into it. On to our eating experience, extremely over priced for low quality food. The pasta was good, definitely fresh, but other than that, olive garden would have been a better choice. The fried calamari was definitely straight bagged frozen from Costco. And since when is a table of 4 considered a large party. These thieves tacked on an automatic 20% gratuity, on a night where the overall experience was garbage, and self-admittedly only had 1 chef on a known busy night so it was insanely slow service. Stay away from this place. If you want good authentic Italian, go to Nonno's in Murrieta.

   We made a reservation for Mother’s Day just after they opened for the afternoon to get our family of 6 in before the rush, The place wasn’t even 1/4 full when we sat down so it should have been fine. When you walk in there is a sign showing pizza as an option. After 20 min we get to make our order, and turns out, no pizza. “That’s the summer menu. I don’t know why it’s up”. Ok, fine, we pivot on the kids food. Apps come, no issues , then mains come but it’s missing one of the kids cheese raviolis (his meal) and half of my wife’s meal, 10 min go by not a soul comes by, the rest of us eat and are done now. Still missing the rest of the order and it’s 30 min now. No refills, not a soul. We are in a corner too for context. Finally our waitress comes and checks in. We tell her we are missing food. She runs off to get it apologetically. For us, at this point , it’s a normal outing and we just roll with it. The manager brings the food and asks us how it’s going and we articulate that the whole family ate but one kid, it’s been an hour and half so far and the whole point of going out is to eat together, it’s been 30 min no one has even come by to even refill water after the mains dropped off and that we are not happy. Remember we were asked and we’re honest with the reply and normal voice volume level for situation. Manager says sorry and says I’ll talk to the owner and see what we can do. No big deal right ? From across the restaurant i hear someone yell, “don’t yell at my employees “. I think, oh something is going down, i turn and the owner is now at our table screaming at my wife and us “do not yell at my employees!!!” I honestly thought we were being pranked. We didn’t yell at anyone or even ask to speak to anyone in the first place. DONE! we get up and just leave all while being verbally screamed at by the owner non stop . I don’t know what’s going on with him but completely uncalled for. What a joke. (I prepaid btw with resi fyi)

   This place was highly recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint. We came in for Mother’s Day weekend, and live music in the bar was nice, but we sat in the main dining room for a more intimate dinner for our group. Our server, Joey, was great and steered us each in the right direction for our entrée choices, which we all loved! The main menu was very extensive with a large variety of choices that we will definitely be back to try. I just which they had a bit more choices for dessert, but excellent overall experience.

   I’m sad to say this. This was my favorite Italian restaurant in town. Yes…It does have the best food. 100% Hands down. Although the owner is a major jerk and unprofessional. I had a dinner gone very wrong. Minutes after ordering and before the food order had been made by a cook. We asked to cancel the order as for some private reasons had come up and we had to leave. The order had not been made and he guilt tripped me into paying for our order and to wait. Then the meal took a backseat to another table. Creating an extensive and extended negative impact. I’m sorry. This bad taste removes the best taste in town.
