So, my girlfriend and I love Topo’s. We’ve been wanting to go back and finally found the opportunity to go on Valentine’s day, so this meal was highly anticipated by us and we had high expectations. Since our first visit, we have visited many more fancy restaurants and have begun to understand what is considered a good dining experience. First off, the service at Topo’s is phenomenal. I called ahead to ask if I could bring in a bouquet of flowers for my date and they accomodated me without hesitation, even finding me a vase to use as I am a college student who doesn’t necessarily have vases lying around his apartment. Furthermore, they sent me home with a vase, which was an extremely unexpected kindness to me and my date. I couldn’t have higher regards for their service.

HOWEVER, we started by ordering two appetizers. One of which, the waiter came back and told us they didnt have the shrimp for their calamari, but that they could serve it without it. We accepted. Both dishes were still very good. The calamari being the surprising favorite over the octopus (our previous favorite). Then came the entrees. First, my date ordered the lamb, which the waiter had to tell us they were out of that night. He then later came back and told me they were out of the tiger shrimp. Essentially, on Topo’s very restricted menu they ended up being out of more than half their entrees. My salmon (one of the two specials, they were out of the other special) was decent, but not the meal I was looking forward to having that night. My date had the New York Strip, which was very underwhelming, as I also tried it. Dessert was good, but they were out of the carmel it was supposed to be served with, honey was a good substitute. I felt bad for our waiter having to tell us all this, as his service was phenomenal relative to the situation he was put in. One of his tables even stormed out of the restaurant. ON VALENTINE’S DAY THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. The management failed miserably on this night.

Very poor! The worst $100 meal I have ever had. I will not recommended Tool's 403 to anyone. Entrance is not well marked. Food was not seasoned at all. My steak was over cooked and I was left with a butter knife to cut it up with. Our table was in a hallway. To top it off it was Valentines Day... Horrible.

Very disapppinted in our first time dining experience at Topo's. We were almost done with our appetizer before our drinks arrived. The time between course was at least 15-20 minutes. I ordered coffee and it came and it cold. All in all, it was disappointing.

First time here...will definitely be back. Wasn't very crowded, therefore very quiet.
Ambience was nice. Service was excellent. Food was very tasty and well-prepared.
Wine list is considerable. Dessert was excellent. Parking convenient. Staff was appreciative and nice.

Wonderful food and excellent wine choices in all price ranges. The staff is always exceptional and just the right amount of friendly. This is a great place for business and romance! Hard to find that combination.

My wife, daughter, and I enjoyed a casual dinner here and will probably return for another. The only thing I can think that would improve would be to have a nice bread served with the olive assortment which was at the table when we were seated.

Great place for a delicious dinner and drinks for a special occasion or as a treat. Absolutely wonderful lamb and beet salad. Nice size portions. Upscale place with good service.

We made our reservation through Open Table and noted we were there for a celebration; the restaurant arranged a small, private back room for us. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed having the room to ourselves.

Top notch food and atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Topos. The drinks were fabulous, the cuisine creative, and the atmosphere very pleasing and relaxing. We loved the location in a historic old home just off the courthouse square. We will definitely be back!

Good food and top notch service as always. We try something diffrent each time and each meal has been fantastic. We dont visit each week, but we do dine there on a regular basis.
