   Great place for a delicious dinner and drinks for a special occasion or as a treat. Absolutely wonderful lamb and beet salad. Nice size portions. Upscale place with good service.

   We made our reservation through Open Table and noted we were there for a celebration; the restaurant arranged a small, private back room for us. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed having the room to ourselves.

   Top notch food and atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Topos. The drinks were fabulous, the cuisine creative, and the atmosphere very pleasing and relaxing. We loved the location in a historic old home just off the courthouse square. We will definitely be back!

   Good food and top notch service as always. We try something diffrent each time and each meal has been fantastic. We dont visit each week, but we do dine there on a regular basis.

   Very disappointing- we have been going to TOPO’s infrequently for a few years. The last two visits have made us decide not to return. Tonight the Lamb Shank was flavorless and the Steak was over cooked, sent the steak back and a few minutes later another “over cooked” steak was served to me. Medium Rare was requested and there was no pink to be found anywhere on the beef steak. The waiter and hostess were pleasant, great table and the desert and coffee was excellent. The bill was over $200 (we did have a bottle of wine) but for that kind of money I expect the food to be prepared correctly as ordered and that it be tasteful. We got neither tonight or the last visit a few months ago. We will be searching for somewhere else to dine in Bloomington.

   A bit disappointing this time. We are long time and fairly regular diners at Topo's. The ambiance is very fine, as always. Our server (Britt) was excellent and very pleasant. The food was a disappointment, however. They did not have several dishes we wanted so most of our group of four settled for second choices. The chicken dish was bland and uninteresting, the pasta dish underwhelming, and the appetizer just ok. Prices remain higher than appropriate for Bloomington. We will return and hope for a better experience.

   Service was not good. The older lady training our waitstress had no idea what she was doing. Could not properly open a bottle of wine. Our wine glasses were dirty. Portions were small. Not authentic. There was also no music. The bartender did no know anything about the craft beer she was serving. Cocktail took too long for there being very few people in the bar.

    The only disappointment was I made the reservation for outside and when we arrived the owner was having a birthday party for 10 people and we were denied the garden...lots of room out there..I doubt our 8 adults would have been an intertuption..
