Food quality is really good taking in consideration Mexican flavors etc + presentation! I ordered bottle of wine ~$250 not complaining about price but how to serve wine and the experience some opportunities to improve: dress code if required enforce it! I may return some day I believe in second opinions but overall my experience wasn’t good when you are paying for it!

Chicken Al pastor was not that good but, the ambience was great. We were there for. Birthday party so to me the ambience was really all I needed. The rest of the guests enjoyed their dishes which included chicken a la roca, carne asada, enchiladas and the truffle burger. Will definitely visit again in the future.

The host was rude and the bar tenders as well. They dont have parking you have to find it or valet with a random parking lot. I had reservations but called in because I was a little late and they said it was fine if I was 10 minutes late over the phone. When I got there they gave my table away and I had to wait 30mins for another table just to be put right in the front where everyone walking in can see you. It's to stuffed and not enough space between the tables and bar . Couldn't celebrate my wife's birthday because the vibes threw us way off. ..on top of feeling discriminated against...I wouldn't try this spot again maybe another location

Ordered the guacamole quesadilla birra, and salmon. Every bite was amazing. Arguably the best elevated Mexican food I’ve ever had in El Lay. I salute the chef. And will return every time I am in So. Cal.

This was a Work group happy hour. This was the first time at Toca for most of the team members. It was a Great Experience for all. The food, drinks and ambiance was Perfect! Also the hostess was able to accommodate last minute additions. Much Appreciated! Definitely a perfect spot to chill after a long week of work! Thanks again!

Came here with my sister, mom and friend for happy hour. We pretty much exclusively ordered off the HH menu. The food was good, not great. The main stand out was the calamari. Our drinks were tasty, but we didn’t love the service. Though the experience was good, I don’t think any of us are dying to go back.

Ceviche and cocktails are the best part of my experience here. The American Wagyu steak was salty and chewy. Only coming back for drinks in the future. Server was not attentive and I went in on a Monday… not busy at all. Oh well. Better luck to y’all!

Dion was attentive and patient, she made up for the the other people we dealt with. The guys wearing black that walked around. Did only that. We tried to get their attention to get water but were too distracted chatting with each other. Black guy with a pony tail just pretended like he couldn’t see us trying to get his attention. Again Dion was great, food was tasty as usual. Music was great as usual, drinks on point as well. I don’t mind spending money for great service and excellent food, if those guys did their job it would be a 5 star review.

The restaurant would not allow my teenage sons enter because they had shorts on; nice shorts with collared shirts, they were nicely dressed. I had to send them home to change. But, there was another guest in the restaurant with athletic shorts on, apparently he was “ a friend of the owner”. My friends and I will never go back.

Had a bad experience at this restaurant. The food was lousy and over priced. Steak was sent back because it was overdone. The chicken was sent back because it was overdone and dry. The server never came around. We had to always ask for him. Not recommended at all.

Been here many time for dinner but this was my 1st time for Sunday Brunch. Brunch menu is diverse, we ordered omelette and breakfast enchiladas but we both didn’t like the excess of cheese in both dishes. The enchiladas were topped with 1 egg , I feel like there should be 2 for the value instead. The pico was too citrusy. The guac was great, we got plantain chips instead of corn. The music played by the DJ was too “techno dance” and didn’t match costal theme; I couldn’t figure out what vibe they were going for, they should def have better choices to compliment the overall experience.

When charging the prices they charge, they should have much better service. The drinks were good and the food was okay but the service was horrible it wasn’t even busy so can’t use that an excuse. Sadly, I will definitely not be returning.

The service was the worst part of it all We had a reservation for 9:00 and didn’t get seated for about 20 minutes however people would come in and somehow get seated immediately Once we are seated we aren’t offered water for another 15 minutes and when the waitress does come over she says “sorry for the wait , we’ll not really Sorry I’m sure you guys make the best of it “ which was corny and ridiculous (I don’t remember her name but it was a tall African American woman). One of the men delivering our food (Diion)to us spills the ceviche juice into our salsa and chips and doesn’t even apologize , placed our food anywhere very carelessly another man that was bringing food to our table also drops the knife onto the table which was very loud and also did not apologize or say anything. Such a weird group of people working there , will probably not be returning nor will be recommending We had been there once before and service was great but the new employees are subpar.

Our waiter Justin, was well spoken, knew his product and delivered it effectively. Of course the food was over the top wonderful. We sat in what they called the treehouse, very nice, a little quieter than downstairs. Overall it was again a wonderful experience. Looking forward to our next visit.
