Foos was okay drinks better
Loved my experience. Food was delicious, environment was gorgeous, but volume was alittle to loud. I felt like everyone was yelling at the table. Loved the service. Waitress and servers were respectful and insightful.
I made reservations here for my fiancé’s birthday and I have to say... I absolutely love the place. The food was delicious, drinks were all very good and the service was great as well. The vibe is definitely different than any other restaurant and I loved it. Will definitely be going back💞
Our table was booked for 9 pm, 2 months in advance. We didn't get seated till 10:30pm, which is fine because the bar is so fun....and if we had some complimentary snacks till the table was ready, perhaps my friend wouldn't of felt so ill from all the alcohol consumption waiting for 1.5hrs for food on an empty stomach. We couldn't even eat our food because she was so ill from the drinks on empty stomach. Not even an apology, not even a bottle water. I had to line up at the bar, pay $10 for water to take outside to her after we paid for the food we didnt eat. That was disappointing.
Love this place. Great food and drinks. Our service was amazing. Fun ambiance with lots of people watching. We came for a birthday dinner we were with a large group. Our waitress was wonderful and took such good care of us. Great overall experience, will be coming back again soon.
This is my second time going to Toca Madera with a group of friends and this location has a great vibe plus amazing drinks. Our waitress Whitney was great.
Waitress made us feel uncomfortable by rushing us, so we decided to go to another bar! if they had customers waiting to be seated I would understand, but they had many open tables! I don't see myself going back again!
We were taken to a 4 top upstairs by the kitchen door and asked if we could move 1 table over so our backs weren’t against the kitchen door. The hostess proceeded to tell us the other two available tables were going to be conjoined to make a bigger party. she then sat two different parties separately. It was just very apparent she was lying
I went in to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I love the decor and ambiance. The food and customer service is great too. I highly recommend this place.
Unreal!!! This is a crazy busy nightclub type restaurant at night, but on the weekends, its super bright and airy and awesome. The brunch items are amazing but the cocktails are the stars! Whoever created those drinks is a genius!!! ;)
i would definitely recommend this place the food and drinks excellent.
Checked in and waited went back about 15 minutes later and asked if our table was ready the said I wasn’t checked in waited another 15 minutes to get a table!! Ridiculous
really enjoyed the ambiasnce
the food and service were great
It was great. Got a little birthday dessert and the trumpet guy played hbd. It was so sweet. Food was cool and super small. They remade it for me so that was cool
I got sick as hell off the ceviche, so I can’t say I had a great time. I’m still recovering. The restaurant itself is very pretty, the cocktail program is solid, and the staff is super helpful. I still prefer not to spend $200 on getting violently ill 😂😞
Solid job done by the staff and VIP host...
Took my girlfriend to eat and she absolutely loved it . The food was so delicious. We ordered asada and eggs and we had passion fruit margaritas. So yummy. The number one thing we noticed was the amazing customer service that was provided to us .. definitely will be coming back again ..
Came here for Sunday brunch food was excellent!! French toast is definitely the best one I’ve had in a long time. Hubby ordered the Huevos Rancheros and chicken mixiote tacos which were also excellent .
The only thing that ruined our experience was the lack of service from our server. Nathan was nice and took our order but we never really saw him again. We ordered bottle of sparkling water and were brought back regular tap water which wasn’t a big deal. Our food came out, we began eating and my husband stopped the bus boy and ask him to get Nathan because he wanted to order a Bloody Mary. We finished our meal and still no drink or server. When it finally came out we were ready for the check. So that was a bummer
The restaurant filled up quickly and he had a couple of other tables he was attending to including the one right next to us. I totally understand he was a bit busy but he completely forgot about us .
Definitely want to give it another shot maybe for dinner we will have better luck .
my thinking is that went we reserve in open table.
we should get a better seating no at the horrible location.
I do have to ask for a better table than the one they want to seat us.
you guys should put that on your notes for a future reservations.
Amazing! Food is delicious, totally worth every penny.
Went here on a Saturday night around 9:00 Just be sure that you don’t get seated in the back next to a tree. Tried to have a nice dinner and was constantly be walked up on by people coming out the kitchen or bumping into the table or my chair should have changed seats but on a date and did not want to make it a issue warning others tight space on two occasions waiters dropped dishes and forks on the floor which bounce across the room to hit my feet and continue to lay there for the rest of the night.
All the staff was attentive which is a plus are server was great and fast she had red hair was nice never felt rushed
We had the tacos which were great
Churros We’re the highlight along with a nice little fire show
I Did see management walking around dong a good job attending people I should of just address my seating with them and all would Have be avoided overall very beautiful establishment.
I look forward to seeing more of what this place has to offer thank you.
I’m hoping this last visit was just a mishap because I really wanted to love this place. They are very accommodating when you first enter with complimentary champagne on the weekend for brunch followed with freshly fried plantain and tortilla chips paired with fresh guacamole and pico de Gallo. But they fall short during the main service. All the entrees came out late which was okay if they didn’t come out stone cold. Unfortunately we were on a time crunch and made the best of it but then the simplest request took just as long as the hour wait for entree. ( keep in mind the restaurant was less than half full when we arrived at 12pm. We had to wait almost 10 minutes to get utensils for our dessert( the churro waffles was they’re only saving grace which are pretty good). But not good enough to take the bitter taste we took away from the overall experience. We even had to wait another 15 just to get a to go box and had to flag other servers down. Doesn’t seem like a big deal but we try to be courteous of Weber’s and the section they are designated to. The inflated prices were expected, even if its Mexican food, it’s after all bordering Beverly Hills, so I expected quality service. I rather have spent the same amount of money at Small Town and actually get a 4-5 course meal with amazing service. Toca Madera definitely missed the mark.
Had friends from East Coast. They thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. I have been here before and never been disappointed. Ambiance, service, music, drinks.....excellent!
Nice service, nice food amazing selection of tequila
Was amazing so perfect and wonderful energy
