It was great. Got a little birthday dessert and the trumpet guy played hbd. It was so sweet. Food was cool and super small. They remade it for me so that was cool
I got sick as hell off the ceviche, so I can’t say I had a great time. I’m still recovering. The restaurant itself is very pretty, the cocktail program is solid, and the staff is super helpful. I still prefer not to spend $200 on getting violently ill 😂😞
Solid job done by the staff and VIP host...
Took my girlfriend to eat and she absolutely loved it . The food was so delicious. We ordered asada and eggs and we had passion fruit margaritas. So yummy. The number one thing we noticed was the amazing customer service that was provided to us .. definitely will be coming back again ..
Came here for Sunday brunch food was excellent!! French toast is definitely the best one I’ve had in a long time. Hubby ordered the Huevos Rancheros and chicken mixiote tacos which were also excellent .
The only thing that ruined our experience was the lack of service from our server. Nathan was nice and took our order but we never really saw him again. We ordered bottle of sparkling water and were brought back regular tap water which wasn’t a big deal. Our food came out, we began eating and my husband stopped the bus boy and ask him to get Nathan because he wanted to order a Bloody Mary. We finished our meal and still no drink or server. When it finally came out we were ready for the check. So that was a bummer
The restaurant filled up quickly and he had a couple of other tables he was attending to including the one right next to us. I totally understand he was a bit busy but he completely forgot about us .
Definitely want to give it another shot maybe for dinner we will have better luck .
my thinking is that went we reserve in open table.
we should get a better seating no at the horrible location.
I do have to ask for a better table than the one they want to seat us.
you guys should put that on your notes for a future reservations.
Amazing! Food is delicious, totally worth every penny.
Went here on a Saturday night around 9:00 Just be sure that you don’t get seated in the back next to a tree. Tried to have a nice dinner and was constantly be walked up on by people coming out the kitchen or bumping into the table or my chair should have changed seats but on a date and did not want to make it a issue warning others tight space on two occasions waiters dropped dishes and forks on the floor which bounce across the room to hit my feet and continue to lay there for the rest of the night.
All the staff was attentive which is a plus are server was great and fast she had red hair was nice never felt rushed
We had the tacos which were great
Churros We’re the highlight along with a nice little fire show
I Did see management walking around dong a good job attending people I should of just address my seating with them and all would Have be avoided overall very beautiful establishment.
I look forward to seeing more of what this place has to offer thank you.
I’m hoping this last visit was just a mishap because I really wanted to love this place. They are very accommodating when you first enter with complimentary champagne on the weekend for brunch followed with freshly fried plantain and tortilla chips paired with fresh guacamole and pico de Gallo. But they fall short during the main service. All the entrees came out late which was okay if they didn’t come out stone cold. Unfortunately we were on a time crunch and made the best of it but then the simplest request took just as long as the hour wait for entree. ( keep in mind the restaurant was less than half full when we arrived at 12pm. We had to wait almost 10 minutes to get utensils for our dessert( the churro waffles was they’re only saving grace which are pretty good). But not good enough to take the bitter taste we took away from the overall experience. We even had to wait another 15 just to get a to go box and had to flag other servers down. Doesn’t seem like a big deal but we try to be courteous of Weber’s and the section they are designated to. The inflated prices were expected, even if its Mexican food, it’s after all bordering Beverly Hills, so I expected quality service. I rather have spent the same amount of money at Small Town and actually get a 4-5 course meal with amazing service. Toca Madera definitely missed the mark.
Had friends from East Coast. They thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. I have been here before and never been disappointed. Ambiance, service, music, drinks.....excellent!
Nice service, nice food amazing selection of tequila
Was amazing so perfect and wonderful energy
Food was good , ambience was good , only thing was our waitress sucked ! We had to ask her multiple times to bring our drinks and silverware etc . And had to go find her to get the check because she never came back to the table
This was mine and my husbands first time here. We walked in a little early. Our reservation was for 8:30 we were directed towards the bar . After about 15 minutes we finally got someone's attention. Once we got drinks we were seated . This is when date night went downhill. We were seated next to what I'm assuming was a big birthday celebration. Long story short they were all drunk and having a blast and we weren't. We just wanted to have a nice evening. The guys literally almost fell on my husband multiple times. A few girls almost fell on me because our table was so close to theirs. They broke glass more than once . Drinks splashed on us . The most annoying part about this is that when we went to the bathroom we saw another much more suitable room for dinner! We were asked by both the hostess and the server if this was our first time here and neither one suggested moving us to that other room. We really regret not sitting in there. The evening would of been so much nicer. Maybe it was our bad for not knowing about it but again it was our first time there . Probably won't come back .
Beautiful place to have brunch at. The menu was so hard to pick from everything sounded delicious. I had the breakfast burrito and i loved it. The guacamole is fantastic, a must try if you like guac. My friend had chicken n waffles, the chicken was ok a little hard but the waffle was cooked perfectly.
The food and service was amazing. We were placed by a speaker so it was kind of hard to talk to
One another. The ambiance was great and wish we sat in the back room. Great first time visit.
Second time here definitely not my last!
Good great place for drinks and food
Amazing experience and ambiance! Live music was a plus!
Menu is different from what is posted on yelp.
Definitely a must DINE! Can’t wait until the next time!
Birthday dinner and the doorman wouldn’t let in let the birthday girl in for her own party.
Best mexican food! Much better than the normal mush of stuff that all tastes the same. The sea bass taquerias were fabulous! Jordan, the manager, greeted us, was so personable. Atmosphere is lively and animated. Delicious!
Super cool environment and decor.
The ambiance, food, and staff were superb!!!
Delicious food. Beautiful restaurant! I would totally go back.
Jose and the grind desk beautiful lady were the very best in hospitality and personality. Made our gurlz day sooo worth it.
GREAT AMBIENCE!!! Loved the decor and the vibe and everything. The value for the price of the food is a little high, but the food was unique and good. I would come back for sure!
Food was just ok. Service was a bit slow. Nothing memorable except for churros at the end
Very good food but pricey and the noise level ex passive. We were not the target audience. Crowd in the 20-40 range.
Good. Thank you.
I was there with my friends but I receive a msg from open table shows that I miss this reservation!
