Simon and Tania Johnson have owned Tinamba Hotel since October 2020 and feel honoured to be the custodians of the hotel’s proud heritage as they build upon a vision from previous owners, Brad Neilson, Damien Gannon, the Schoenmaeker and Whelan families.

Using the finest, locally grown fresh produce from local suppliers and working with the most talented chefs in the region is what the Johnsons believe sets Tinamba Hotel apart.     The venue is very pleasant. The staff are helpful and very professional in how they go about their work with patrons. We felt well looked after and the food was delicious except for the main course which was not to our liking. I have food allergies and they were catered for with great finesse.

    The four of us drove from Warragul to have lunch at this lovely hotel. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the waiter was efficient and attentive without being intrusive. Two dishes really stood out for us: the yummy gnocchi with the pumpkin sauce and the apple pie. Our experience was well worth the drive.

    The food, service and attention to detail were simply outstanding. We went for a special birthday celebration and we had a wonderful night. The staff made our birthday guest feel so special with a lovely desert at the end of the night. Highly recommended.
