Excellent food, and superb wine list by the bottle. Relatively minor quip: Wines served by the glass were more glou glou for the most part(as is often the case). Would have loved to see the option to have something Coravined and offered by the glass or carafe - or maybe at least offer some 375s? Too bad I was not there with a large party so we could order a couple of bottles.

About the restaurant
The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.

Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following;
Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-36 and for a maximum of 3 hours.

If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked.

We leave tables unreserved in our beer garden and parts of inside for groups of less than 5 people and walk-ins.

If you're wanting to make a reservation for 36+ people, please visit our webpage.

Great atmosphere (the horse memorabilia was in my wheelhouse). The food and drinks were A1 and the service was really good. Heaps of people there, but wasn’t loud or crowded. Can highly recommend a beer, food or a session there at any time.

Bluestone American BBQ features a Latin American spin on authentic low and slow traditions from the US BBQ belt. His talent for bringing together the best of North and South American food traditions has been a drawcard for diners across Melbourne since the restaurant opened seven years ago. He credits the success of Bluestone to his Uruguayan culture and heritage, which is all about “food, family and fire…BBQ is a feature of all my best memories. There’s no better way to celebrate milestones, or to just kick back and have fun with the people you love. Bluestone has always been about creating that experience for other people.”

Had a wonderful dinner at Waterfront Southgate. It was a beautiful summer evening during the Australian Open - weather was perfect and we sat outside overlooking the promenade and Yarra River. We chose the only have mains and our whole group found meal delicious and good value for money. I had the Toothfish which was sensational and it was great that it came with some Asian style vegetables. Very busy restaurant but service was great.
