Wonderful food, great service. We loved everything and appreciate them teaming up with VBHC to raise funds for mental health care.
The tasting menu is an exercise in a lot of different flavors. It changes so one visit doesn't do it justice. Our reservation was at 5 pm and it was very quiet. by the time we had finished the restaurant had filled up and it was noticeably "more chatty".
The food was beautiful but the main course (fillet) and dessert was horrible. The fillet was undercooked blood still coming out and tough. The dessert tasted doughy like it was also undercooked. Service was amazing! I will not be back however at this price point I expect excellent food and service!
Dining at the White Linen is always a treat. The menu, cocktails and staff are the best!
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and absolutely loved it. The staff was kind and accommodating, the food was exquisite, and the ambiance was just lovely. Definitely would recommend!
The September tasting menu is delicious - the best of the series though all have been great. N
Excellent food and service as usual. Topeka is fortunate to White Linen as a fine dining option. With monthly menu change, there is always something new to explore. Our favorites this time where the leek fondue and the porcini mushroom ravioli. Also appreciate their allowing diners to bring own wine with a small corkage fee. Their wine list is small but well curated, still sometimes we like to bring a special bottle of our own.
Our waiter, Dan, was fantastic. We loved him. The food was AMAZING.
This is our favorite fine dining restaurant in Topeka.
Food was really good. Service was good, our server was always there to help.
This was our first visit to The White Linen and we were so impressed. The presentation of the food was amazing, the 5 course meal was delicious and our waiter (Dan) was professional and fun. We highly recommend The White Linen.
The food was delicious and the service was professional. The historical building and The White Linen have been aesthetically restored.
This was my first time there and it was amazing!!!!
The August tasting menu is delicious (as was July’s). Everything very good but I especially liked the caprese salad and the risotto. Enjoyed Aaron’s Bramble cocktail and the Pinot Noir he recommended. Chef Adam and his team do a wonderful job - the best restaurant in Topeka. N🇬🇧
It was amazing. Service was wonderful! Very informative and polite. Food was outstanding! I was the dork taking pictures of every course. It was displayed beautifully. Oh and the coffee? Very smooth and delicious!
We had an excellent meal. Everything was great! The watermelon pudding was a little different but other than that...can’t wait to dine there again.
My second time to visit while the July tasting menu was on offer - both times the food was delicious, beautifully presented and perfectly served. Tried the Old Fashioned cocktail and the house cabernet and both were excellent. I've noticed that often several guests at different tables know each other leading to a relaxed and friendly atmosphere - I talked to the people at the adjoining table, two very nice Topekans. Looking forward to the next menu and dining at TWL again.
Went to the White Linen for our 20th anniversary dinner. The 5 course meal was outstanding. Our waiter, Blake, was very helpful and did a great job introducing the dishes. The overall experience was a fantastic way to celebrate this occasion. Highly recommend the White Linen.
Absolutely amazing experience. Food, drinks, price - all great!
Food was amazing along with everything else. Will definitely be going back.
Per usual, the experience was very good. The 5 course meal was wonderful, service was awesome and drinks were perfect. It’s a perfect spot to slow down, enjoy the food and appreciate the company you are with. It’s always a perfect evening at TWL!
I would highly recommend The White Linen to anyone who visits Topeka. Adam is a wonderful chef, the food is simply outstanding!!
The food was extremely salty with all of the courses. The Lobster bisque was salty and cool. Limited menu was not a problem, but the waiter and service was just average at best. Very pricey for the dinner and service.
Reopened with a set Tasting Menu of five courses - all delicious. Cannot fault any of the dishes and it is difficult to say if I had a favorite. Had one of the new cocktails (Romance .....) and this was equally good as were the wines suggested. The new banquette seating works very well. It was good to see them open again and as busy as current rules allow.
The new menu is great and the staff is much improved from our last experience.
The food and service were excellent as usual. The value was outstanding. 6 quality courses for $40 is an exceptional value. We took our own wine and paid a very reasonable corkage fee. It was a real treat to take out-of-town guests to the White Linen and have an such an impressive meal. Our guests were duly impressed!
Great meal as always, glad in house dining is back.
Fun experience with beyond delicious food. It was a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary.
The food was perfect, all five tasting courses. My favorites were the scallop and the steak.
Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food! Staff beyond helpful!
This was our first time at The White Linen and we will definitely be back. My husband and I would highly recommend. The food and service was absolutely outstanding. Best food we have had in a LONG time.
Tried The White Linen for the first time and we’ll DEFINITELY be back!! Unquestionably one of the best meals I have ever had. Can’t wait to see what is on next months menu!!!
The food was delicious, but unfortunately, my steak was over cooked. My waitress also didn’t explain any of the dishes like I heard the other waiter do. My steak was closed to med well than med rare
Food was all perfection. Cocktails were good. Very few tables to promote social distancing. The ambiance was great and aided by the soft music from the 20s and 30s.
The menubwas a single five course serving. It was called the May dinner menu so get there this month. 2d time i have had steak at Whitenalinen and they dont give you a steak knife because you don't need one. Our server was attentive and responded to all of our questions and needs. The only "negatives" were that she did not explain each of the courses as they were served as the other server did, and none of the servers wore masks, if that bothers you (I think the new phase will require masks). Would definitely recommend.
This is not fast food. It is not your typical sit-down restaurant. If you want to stuff your face and move on with life, this is not your place. If you want to spend time enjoying your food and dining companion, then make your reservation so you have something fantastic to look forward to.
This is far and away the very best restaurant in topeka. The food service and ambience are wonderful!
Loved the evening and the food. Rather an exciting time with fire alarms going off and two trucks responding! Would love to come back again any time. Fun and special place to come!
Thank you for a great evening! We felt like we had really been out that night!!
Came by for the Tuesday special it was great!
Went out to dinner and the food presentation was second to none. The service was top notch and the food was great. Would highly recommend this place to all. Fair prices for the quality, service and atmosphere.
