Encantador

AIM Strategies, LLC, is excited to announce their third restaurant in Downtown Topeka.
The restaurant features an upscale American grille menu with items such as: premium cut steaks, Tuscan Salmon, Chicken Fried Lobster, and a diverse selection of appetizers, salads, sides and desserts. Also included are traditional favorites like burgers, fries, and grilled chicken sandwiches. The Weather Room will also feature various handcrafted cocktails and an extensive wine selection. The restaurant is open to the public and welcomes walk-in guests and reservations, and is located at 920 S. Kansas Avenue, within the lower level of the Cyrus Hotel. Operating hours will be from 6:30am – 10:30am for breakfast each morning, lunch served from 11:00am- 1:30pm. Dinner hours will be 5pm – 10pm with a full-service bar for cocktails, wine, and draft beers.

Ordered a filet steak medium, it was overcooked, very salty! The lobster dip was nothing special. My salad was very good. Service was good!

How to begin, there were only 3 tables I could see yet our server was unable to get to them. We were actually debating leaving before he finally came to take our drink order that we waited 10 minutes for. I snuck in an app order before he could run away thank goodness because it was another 5-10 minutes before he came back. We then ordered a variety of items off them menu all of which sucked. I mean French onion soup inedible, steak tagliata salad pathetic, just bad. Don’t go

They had a private event the same day of my reservation. They were understaffed for dinner service and had entrées that weren’t available. Two of our entrées were overcooked. No attempts to rectify was made my the staff.

Four of us went for dinner. We had a lovely booth and our server was great. One of us ordered mushroom pasta which didn’t have many mushrooms, it was more just a tasty Mac n Cheese. One of us ordered bacon and date gnocchi which was supposed have just a drizzle of maple on top. They were delicious, but sadly they were swimming in a puddle of syrup so the entire bottom 1:2 of dish was uneditable. The French onion soup was delicious as was the harvest salad w salmon. Portions are very large; I’d suggest sharing.

The brunch buffet was overpriced for what it was. I spent $150 after tip for two mocktails and the buffet for two people. The food was fine, but would have felt better spending $50-75 for that experience. Haven’t been to the restaurant side, heard wonderful things, now a little hesitant.

Went on a Friday evening surprisingly it was not busy so our dinner came out really fast. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. 5 stars for me.

Service was good. Steak was good. Bacon date goat cheese gnocchi was not good. It was like eating sweet soggy donuts. The chicken fried lobster was over cooked and too salty.

The food was simply awful. Fried calamari was overly breaded with bad flavor. Portions were ridiculously gigantic. Salad dressing tasted terrible, couldn’t eat the salad. Prices were high too. The waitress tried her best though. Sort of goes with the hot (Cyrus) it is in. Stupidity laid out tiny room. I guess this is the best Topeka can do. 😩

Had my birthday dinner with a friend at the weather room. The food was worth the price. Braden was our waiter, he was amazing the whole time. Cool vibes, modest and aesthetic.

We loved Easter brunch last year for our family and made another reservation this year. To our disappointment, we were out in a banquet room instead of the restaurant. The food was a decent walk away. That makes it difficult for children.
