This is one of our favorite restaurants and it is always perfect. We have the double pork chop which is cooked to perfection and full of flavor. We highly recommend Vineyard Rose.

Atmosphere pleasant and comfortable, but on the loud side with the way the conversations carry. Primary service was professional and kind of stiff rather than warm and welcoming. Wasn’t very helpful with wine recommendations. The south coast wine I chose was wonderful. Bread service to be purchased was disappointing. Ceviche was ok. Filet dish was great and cooked perfectly. Salmon dish was over cooked and the sides were cut so fancy they didn’t carry any flavor but made the dish look colorful. The s’mores dessert sounded delicious, but the graham crackers were stale, the goji berries ruin the flavor and there should have been more marshmallow or ice cream added to curb the richness and dryness of the brownies. Less focus on presentation and more on practicality would have made these dishes a lot better.

I asked for the heater on, and I was told they ran out of propane. The server Kyle was unfriendly, when I told one of the young girls my flatbread was wrong she said I’m not a server, said she would tell my server never did. The 2 gentleman assisting dealing with drinks etc were nice. Not a great experience, that explains why I could get a table there and not at the other wineries

We made reservations. They said they would seat us half hour early, but we were delayed bec they thought we were a party of 8, reservations clearly said 4 on Open Table. Seated next to a very loud table of 8 people. Changed seats, then took 20 min before server was able to come back to us. Found out no bread is served while waiting ( they were known for their bread and seasoned butter). Food was good, server tried to be attentive but was very busy. Mood was unfortunately ruined.

Ambiance was elegant, romantic, great lighting. Great setting for peaceful dinner. Food came out quick. Steak was cooked perfectly had good flavor, but the sauce that was drenched on top of it was overwhelming. Smoked potatoes were ok but bland. Seafood pasta was good. Overall flavor profile was 7/10, good food but no WOW factor. For the price, the experience was underwhelming. Would have liked more attention from the server. Especially towards the second half of the meal. Summary; decent food, great environment, ok service

We went to SCWinery for our Anniversary, from the hostess, the bartender — Josh, the waiter —Mark, and the rest of the staff acknowledged our anniversary with each introduction. They all made us feel special in their restaurant, which was a nice quiet ambiance throughout our dinner. The bartender, Josh, was very knowledgeable in his craft and the cocktail menu he created were quite delicious! Our waiter, Mark, is also very knowledgeable and made wonderful suggestions when pairing different wines with each of our meals. His suggestions were spot on from our starter — the ceviche, to each of our entrees, and finally to the dessert wine, to pair with our favorite dessert — creme brûlée. Finally, hats off to the chef! Each of our meals, but especially our entrees, the lamb & pork chops, were incredibly delicious and well prepared; presentation, delectable flavors and cooked to perfection! We absolutely recommend everyone to try this winery and restaurant, because we most certainly will be returning for our next occasion!

We had a reservation and still had to wait 25 minutes. I understand it was Easter but it wasn’t to crowded. The host at the check in counter was very nice and friendly and offered us a free glass of wine. He was very very polite and friendly. When we got seated we waited about 10 minutes until the waiter showed up. Over all it was a great afternoon. I understand things happen

We have been wine club members of South Coast Winery where this restaurant is for many years. We came on this occasion for a birthday celebration. We ordered the calamari app, a cuban sandwich and the chimichurri steak. The calamari was super salty and overcooked. The cuban sandwich was not cuban at all and very thin with only one type of meat. The steak was overcooked. The last couple of times we have come here have been super disappointing. They told us the chef changed and they changed the menu but it is not good at all. We are looking for a new place to eat when we are in the area. We have been trying to give it several chances to improve. It is a shame because the restaurant is lovely.
