   Another incredible meal at the Village Pub. Exceptional service, food, and ambiance. We were celebrating our anniversary and I can think of no better special occasion restaurant to go to. From start to finish, every bite was amazing.

   Village Pub is our very favorite restaurant. The service is amazing and the food even better. Definitely worth the splurge!

   Best meal I've had in a long time. Food was absolutely delicious. Loved the bread & desserts in particular but it was all good. Service was truly outstanding.

   We wanted to love the experience. But the value for the money just wasn’t there. We ordered the Wagyu Ribeye (upcharge) and it was not at all marbled. It was rather tough and only three slices (maybe a third of a Ribeye steak). Seemed like a dry New York to us. It was our anniversary, we didn’t want to dampen it more by complaining and the other guests were in earshot if we complained so we chose not to. So, no, we didn’t give them the chance to make it right. A $470 dinner should have knocked our socks off. There are so many other great restaurants in Palo Alto so we will likely not go back.

   I love the Village Pub - it is a guaranteed great meal with impeccable service and is always the best experience. They never make you feel rushed at the table and you feel welcome from the minute you enter. Nothing but great things to say!

   An overall great experience. We sat outside (it was very warm at 7 PM); but, fortunately, for a 7:30 PM reservation the evening cooling kicked in after about 8:15 PM. The plating, service and food presentations were excellent and my only minor suggestion was that I had to ask for the check after post dinner drinks. The wine list and service were excellent too! The master sommelier, Jim, was knowledgeable, attentive and great fun to work with we picked out wines from France, Washington State and New Zealand (no not a sauvignon blanc :(, but a chardonnay from Auckland).

    The food was making and kind, knowledgeable, and attentive service. Chef Msrc McDaniel prepared an excellent meal for myself and friends. Would definitely recommend and will be back again.
