We have always enjoyed this cozy restaurant and it was good again, however the food and service wasn't as great as normal, but it was still a good experience. Also, it was very hot in the room so it was a bit uncomfortable. The service good but a bit slow and the waitress kept saying it was coming, but it wasn't. She also was a bit over-the-top by saying "was your food amazing, I see that your dessert was completely delicious, etc." so it didn't seem sincere and was hard to respond too. We will come back but hope it gets back to the normal great experience.

The draft coming in from outside was an issue. Velvet curtain not sufficient. There was only one server for entire restaurant. They need to provide bread or something because meal took long and portions are small. Need more wine selection especially since it's called "Village Cork." Lots of potential, they need to invest money into updating ceiling, getting rid of one of the main doors and creating vestibule. Dinner was great however.

Made a reservation through open table which was confirmed but the restaurant was closed when we got there. Really don't know if it is good or bad yet. Open Table should have a n/a category to choose from

I have been coming to the charming, neighborhood restaurant for years and am never disappointed. Food menu is small, focusing on seasonal delectable dishes. Wine list is always solid. Wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Lisa is a delightful owner who greets her guests with a smile.

We used to love village cork. Unfortunately it seems that as their restaurant expanded, so did their prices. I have no problem paying $12 for a salad. I like salad. I don't like when my $12 sad is smaller than the size of my balled up fist. It's a broccoli salad, people! Broccoli is not expensive!! The ravioli ($13 or $14? Can't remember) contained three small ravioli. I get that if it's filled with lobster or gold shavings. But this was vegetarian ravioli. The only item that had any heft to it was the poutine... Which contained soggy fries. YEs, poutines are covered in gravy, but the fries should at least have been crispy at some point in their lives. We won't be dining here again. Overpriced and underwhelming. "Small plates" does not mean you get to rip off your customer.

Food was good...one complaint is that to charge $13 for three tiny pieces of ravioli is a bit much.

Cozy atmosphere, good for a fall date. Service was very slow. It took 5 minutes to get a glass of water, and 10 minutes after that before we met our server. Food was fine, but the menu is limited, and my broccoli salad was pretty small. The warm brie and garlic was wonderful, and my husband enjoyed his burger. We enjoyed a great bottle of red wine. I was somewhat irritated by server's presumptive "Is everything great?" query. It wasn't great, but if I say no, it sounds like it was bad. Overall good atmosphere, but service requires patience.
