   The Thames was fine but not of the same standard as some other Indian restaurants. You get the feeling it benefits from it's location rather than the quality of it's food.

   Really enjoyed the food at Thames India - the décor is dated but the service is good and the food is really good - a good range of fish dishes on the menu and an excellent authentic tarka dal. Thanks guys.

   I went to The Thames Indian for dinner with two friends. I have been before and the restaurant is always pretty busy. Its location makes it ideal if you are, as we were, going to the IMAX or if you are arriving or leaving from Waterloo station. The food is pretty decent, the service fairly efficient and the prices reasonable. Although not particularly outstanding, due to its location, I would certainly go again.

   As usual, very good food in slightly cramped surroundings. Excellent for a quick dinner with a friend or colleague.

   My experience was not good. The waiters seemed to want to get rid of you. Food was rushed in and also you barely finished before the plates were whisked away.

   Usual staples at this restaurant serving a mix of tourists and travellers. Jalfrezi was hot but not excessively so. Veggies well spiced. Service was prompt. No after dinner mints though! Good for that spare hour before (or after) your train.

   First all of the restaurant didn't have my booking which is never a good start is it? Then one of my party (there were 4 of us in total) was running late by approx. 15 mins. The servers must have asked us 3 times in that 15 minutes if we were ready to order. It was verging on rude! It was Friday night and they were obviously busy but I felt they wanted to get us in and out as quick as possible. Having said all that, the food was utterly outstanding.

   Reliable as ever. Massively convenient for Waterloo trains. Good choice on the menu and efficient service, well priced. No complaints as usual.

    The food was very good and represented good value for money. The service however was very kurt and this had an effect on the scores given for service and ambiance as you felt you were kind of in the way. If the service was warmer then the overall score would easily have been 4*. The above said we went out to eat good Indian food and we got this from everything we ordered. All the food was nicely presented and tasted really good...the best one, food wise, in a while.
