Created in 1978 by Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Robert Mondavi, Opus One is a masterpiece of old and new world winemaking. Together they conjured an instant classic—a Bordeaux style blend largely composed of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, grown in the soils of the Opus One estate ever since. Regular steak is $65. Had a steak special for 2 person. Sidnt tell us the price. So we ordered and thought it should be about $150 max. Steak was not the great and when got the bill thr steak was $300 ! Very over priced and we should have been told in advance.

The General Manager, Nicholas, saved the day (someone get this man a cape)! I booked for their regular lunch seating somehow, and not the afternoon tea that we were after. Nicholas jumped into action, and made sure our experience was exceptional (he even brought us napkins and poured our champagne table side). Nicholas, our waitress, and all of the staff were extraordinary, and customer service was outstanding.

The food is ridiculously overpriced compared to the actual value. The burger pales in comparison to in-n-out expect its 10x more expensive. The dessert was nearly offense when they brought out a bowl of berries with a dollop of whipped cream for $18 dollars. The price to value ratio is terrible.

One of my favorite places to lunch (next to the Bel Air Restaurant)...or even have dinner. Nessa our server was amazing as usual, but generally the entire staff is spectacular. The grilled salmon is my favorite....the salads incredible!

We had such a great experience. Our waiter was wonderful and the food was delicious. Scallops were perfectly cooked. The home made gnocchi was decadent and the linguine had so much flavor. Can’t wait to bring my next guest from out of town there.

We had afternoon tea here for my friend’s birthday. Service was terrible. We had spa appointments at the hotel and told our server but we still did not receive the remainder of our tea desserts so we had to hurriedly wrap them up and take them with us. The sandwiches were dry and it did not feel special at all like most afternoon teas. For the price we paid the service nor the food was worth it.

Entres: Fantastic smoked prawns, delicate and savory halibut, the bolognese is the best in Beverly Hills. I always have the cauliflower Romanesque as a starter - soooo yummy! The Terrace ambiance is the most pleasant restaurant setting imaginable.

The Mayborne is obviously a beautiful place. Dining outside on the patio is such a lovely experience. I absolutely love to come here for brunch. I enjoy the aesthetic and level of formality. The service was good and I appreciate the etiquette from staff. The food is good but not particularly impressive relative to the other restaurants in Beverly Hills, the assortment feels a bit standard for a hotel restaurant.

The brunch was our 4th annual birthday celebration at The Terraces. The day started out gloomy and and cool so I was grateful to be surrounded by heaters. The wait staff was great. A special thank you to Pierre for the extra attention.

Had the Eggs Benedict, which was pretty good, although the Hollandaise was an odd whitish color and could be better/richer. Service was way too unhurried, which was a bit annoying. And although the prices are high, you’re in Beverly Hills in a truly lovely setting next to the Canon Gardens, so you knew it couldn’t possibly be cheap when you made the reservation. Overall, a good experience.

bill for 9 was over 1.5 about 150 per person no minimum so thats good food was good and came out quick great for large parties and we were indoors on a cold day.
