   We usually have an incredible meal here - and still highly recommend it. However this visit was marred by 3 things for us. 1. Our server, while very nice and friendly was really hard to understand. The noise level (which is number 2) did not help. We had to literally yell a few times while trying to have a conversation between the 3 of us. Not sure why it was so loud. (yes, packed) 3. My husband ordered the King Crab entree. (“special”) and it was incredibly disappointing. For 150$ (yikes) it was an extremely small portion. He even thought the preparation was not so great. Thankfully one half the price was taken off our bill - he thought that was not really enough but didnt push the issue. Now for the good - I ordered a wagyu cap steak special (the one special I understood) which was a lovely sized portion and spectacular - done to perfection. Our friend had the snapper and he loved it. My Manhattan cocktails were well made and a great pour. We 3 split a salad and the au gratin potatoes which were to die for. We were treated to an amazing crab cake appetizer (before we ordered and I will def. order one next time we go) and a peach cobbler desert after my husband-spoke to the Maitre D about his crab. We always have an awesome meal here and will return - just dont order the King Crab entree.

   Another fantastic meal at the Steakhouse. We shared the crab finger appetizer and wedge salad and then went off the menu with a 14 oz Wagyu strip and 14 oz cold water lobster tail. We have eaten here many times and my boyfriend swears this was the best steak we’ve ever had there. It was seasoned perfectly. John Paul is the best maitre’d and is always so accommodating. He truly understands great customer service. As well, Brandon was an excellent server. Don’t miss the watermelon martini.

   Always a great visit to The Steak House. John Paul and Lazar took great care of us. We both had the snapper with crab sauce—delicious. Appetizers were lobster bisque soup, crab legs and crab cakes—all tasted great. Birthday desert was peach cobbler with ice cream and cheese cake were very good. Look forward to our next visit. San Luis is our home away from home!

We found ourselves reminiscing as the melodies whisked us back in time, enhancing the overall magic of the evening. Overall, the combination of an outstanding meal, with my grouper and my wife’s tuna, the mesmerising music, and the attentive, caring staff made for an unforgettable dining experience. We left not only satisfied but also inspired by the level of care and passion demonstrated by the entire team.
